I am extremely shocked to see such thing...we r not like a child...if we think we cant rate openly as the person who making it feeling bad then i must say please stop arranging the contests here...friendship is different & to rate or marks in an entry of a contest is different...if we vote openly to an entry then whats problem in the rating?????

If no one can vote then okay i will change the mode of voting

Hmm ... what say others ?? as far as I'm concerned ... I'd prefer marking ... choosing the best out of best is more tough ... if I like 4 stories of the lost .. I can rate them similar ...

You know...when we started holding story contests on this forum, all these points were debated for several days and we arrived at the conclusion that for story contests, we have to give marks and not just A B C. Everyone wants to know what people think of their story.

Look I guess most of the participants are ok with open scoring (if any isn't please tell why) ... it gives them a chance to know who rates their story what ... and work on that in the future. It's a contest ... I rather feel secret scoring leads to more confusion and misunderstandings as compared to open voting.

Exactly i m trying to say this point from the beginning...
In a contest there is 7entries most of people vote for 4/5/1/7...what about the rests? They also put same effort in it but they dnt understand why their entry is not chosen...
Nandini its not just matter of disqualification of ur vote...try to understand the fact...if u can vote 3 entries then why u cant rate them...

Okay in VM contest there is only 6 entries...in this if we consider voting not rating then we should give only 1 vote so what about the others??
