DAYA IS NOT JUST A STUNTMAN!

We have been noticing how the image of Daya is being changed from a softspoken, intelligent cop to a violent, serious stuntman. I want our cute Daya with his boyish grin back. He's too serious and has lost those lovely expressions he's capable of. It's been ages since we have had a genuine conversation between our duo. Everything looks forced as if Daya is not really enjoying himself. What do you all feel? (I am on mobile, cant elaborate now) Pls post your views.

Ya vis di daya sir is realy rocking. He is sweet, inteligent, smart cop. He is not at all violent. He is just superb when he calls abhi or boss.!! N i love him when he says sirr! To acp. He is kind to his juniors.

Well, I quite agree, it true that this is not the real daya we're seeing... I feel that we're watching a "Behroopiya" of his who like like the same person and isn't. He does not seem happy of what he's doing recently, and that's clearly visible on his face. I never expected such a change, but it's very sad that way. Daya sir is an actor of a callibre who can give his best shot at his scene. But now, he just seems to be robotic who just seems to be delivering his dialogues stone-heartedly... This is what is itching me...

FW has a very bad tendency to spoil the character...in past they spoiled the character of some officers like Divyana...then they did the same with our Freddy sir & now Daya sir...I don't understand their strategy towards own serial...Daya sir is an important part of CID...he is not a superman who breaks the door or doing such stunts...he is a human being but unfortunately now he is behaving like a robot...he smiles sometime but that smile is not from the heart that's just an acting (Plzz dnt mind but I feel it)...another thing we know there was a wonderful friendship between Daya sir & Abhijit sir...but somehow i feel that it's vanished...they r not behaving like our duo whom we know...it's very sad...it's one of the reason for which i somehow lost that interest for CID (now only see for Abhijit sir)...because the wonderful relation among the members is totally vanished (as I feel)...😭

I have always felt that after JDJ Daya began to change, its as if the humiliation that he had to face unfairly made him grim and he went into a shell, also he seems to have distanced himself from Aditya sir and Satam sir.

Deepika...I also felt the same...becoz after JDJ we never see such a sweet smile of Daya sir...

@saadrita- i remember that case...it was Bhagdad mein maut ka raaz..daya lifts the car and abhijeet stood like a rock in front of the car, i remember commenting that that was too much

Exactly..all this has taken a toll on his acting also..& He has grown a moustache...which adds to his age...

Thank you for this thread ... I've been saying this since a long time ... they've turned Daya into a stressed out,short temper,violent robot !!! I ahte this ... the way Daya was patkofying the guys head on the footpath in fridays episode ... I felt like shouting out ... Daya is not a violent guy !!! Yes he's strong and powerful but is not one who'll use that power unnecessarily ... its so hurting ... I feel bad thinking kya yahi woh Daya that jise hum jaanthe the ??? He's not my Daya sir ... hum samajhte hai but cv's have failed to understanbd that there's ?ore to Daya than slapping and breaking doors !!!
