And you have to write a nice review ..
Is there any frame which'll have Daya and Viren together ?? A cap of it .. I'd actually want to compare it with duo's !!
I must've missed this one in the Sony re-runs; I only remember watching it back in '01 or 02, but recalled a lot of details (including the victim's name and face reconstruction scene). Didn't realize that this was the much talked-about paddy field episode.
The first thing I noticed here is that the art direction was much better; the skeleton looks much more realistic than the ones shown in contemporary cases. The overall story is pretty much simple but they kept the episode engaging by building fishy circumstances around each of the suspects and having the team investigate them individually.
The forensic scenes, though brief, were such that the new directors could learn something from them; not only is good and well-explained science featured, but good-natured and proper humour is there as well (mainly the aforementioned Viren-Salunkhe scene). A couple of parts felt a bit cheesy (the Hamlet thing at the end of part 1), but that's okay.
BTW, did Daya sir not have any proper entry scene? I had seen a cap of ACP sir shaking his hand with Viren and others in the background, and assumed that was it, but there was none here.
