This January,CID completed 13 years.and as if the jokes and moronic shayari taking pot shot at it were not enough , it makers are planning 2 release a CID film and comic book soon.

"CID is popular amongst all ages and we have decided 2 make a commercial film on it. the film, produced by sony, will be released next year and the story will revolve around the shows main cast. It will also have a mainstream actor, whoever agrees 2 join and fits our budget"say B.N. singh of fireworks production.

"at the end of the year of this year, we will launch a comic book based on CID. The show has been shot in places like Switzerland, paris ,and manali and we will include more outdoor location in the future,"adds singh.

ACP Pradyuman,the protagonist of the show, is a stern, honest man and leads his team from the front as he solves the most difficult cases. His most famous gesture is 2 put his left hand inside the pocket, rotate the right hand(the way laloo Prasad yadav does)and looks straight in in camera and say "daya pata lagayo (daya find out) "we wonder if the ACP,whose real name is shivaji satam, does that in his real life too.
