⭐️Found a news article related to Satam sir:

A launch for the 'lunch men'

IT was a truly affecting function .the launch of 'Mumbai's Dabbawala 'The Uncommon Story of the Common Man,' by author Shobha Bondre, released at the hands of actor Shivaji Satam, senior dabbawala Gangaram Talekar and nutitionist Dr. Vijaya Venkat at the Press Club of India on Thursday.

Shivaji Satam spoke about his emotional connect with the dabbawalas of Mumbai and their honest and upright lives. It is something all of us connect with.

Dabbawala Gangaram Talekar spoke about their work ethic, their ability to weather all the ups and downs of professional life, and their well-deserved but long-overdue recognition that has come to them in the last few years, with the world from the UK to the US, from Prince Charles to Harvard University, sitting up and taking notice.

Writer Shobha Bondre, translator Shalaka Walimbe, and publisher Gouri Dange of OMO Books, spoke about the interesting task of bringing out the flavour of the dabbawalas' thoughts and emotions in the English language. To those who are interested (and these will be legion, for buying a book about dabbawallas comes with buying a book about Mumbai, so unique are they to the city and its particular needs for a hot lunch!), the e-book version was also released at the same time.
Buy and read.

The weepy women of Indian television have made way for the dashing older men.

CID: Sony TV
Average ratings: 3.5 to 4
Shivaji Satam, 60
Plays ACP Pradhyuman, the officer who will solve a crime no matter what the obstacles, in long-running crime thriller CID on Sony.
USP
Kicking open doors and stating the obvious. The show has run close to 14 years with an almost unchanged cast. His stern expression and the flick of his hand as he says,'Nahi Daya, nahin! Kuch toh gadbad hai' are devoured by the audience who often mistake him for a police officer in real life.
EARNINGS
Rs.50,000-80,000 a day.

Male-oriented scripts have been few and far between. Shivaji Satam has played asssistant commissioner of police (ACP) Pradhyuman in crime show CID for close to 14 years since January 1998. It started as a show airing Mondays to Thursdays and is now a weekend show from Fridays to Sundays. But that is no indication of a decline in popularity as it continues to get an average TRP of 3.5. "Not a single day have I got bored of playing the character. CID has sustained till now because the characters have been established as being larger than life and people look up to them," says Satam. His common dialogues "Daya darwaza tod do" and "daal mein kuch kaala hai" have spawned reams of jokes but also cemented his place as an icon. He believes a male lead will succeed only when portrayed in a positive way.

😛😆
I heard someone saying that they work 30 days a month!!! Mr Attendance boy. I am sure he'll be getting at least half of this. multiply by 30...and by another 12.
I read that article...and now I am sooo 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
Where are duo? Don't they deserve a place alongside Ronit and Monish behl?
I guess they are younger than all the actors on that page. 🤔 except maybe Ram Kapoor...he's only 38??? 😲 I don't believe he is younger than our Aditya sir and Daya sir.
