I think it was a pretty average episode with a predictable plot. They've implemented this "dead man rising" idea quite a few times now. Nevertheless I did like some of the details, such as ACP sir deducing that the burnt man was not Mannu because of the absence of alcohol in the postmortem report 👍🏼, the lottery part and the murdered girl turning out to be the killer's stepdaughter. However I think the ending didn't quite go up to its full potential, they could've done much better than this.
ACP sir - I think he was really good with the investigation and joining the puzzles together while discussing with the team. However they made him shout too much here again.
Abhijeet - He was the star of the episode today! He had ample screen time and I think he performed exceptionally well in all his scenes, especially towards the end. Way to go! 👏
Daya sir - Only a small cameo in the beginning. I reckon he was taking a short break for this though, considering he was there for most of yesterday's case. That's fine.
Freddy - They kinda messed up his role today. Initially he was serious with the investigation, then suddenly all this buffoonery and aatma talk pops up. And I hope the writers do remember that his real name is Fredericks, "Freddy" is a nickname by which his colleagues affectionately call him (on the phone, he says "main Insp. Freddy bol raha hoon")
Vivek, Sachin, Kajal - Didn't have much to do, but I think they were pretty good in all their scenes.
Forensic lab - Nothing really special today, though I liked Dr. Salunkhe's performance again, how he explains everything regarding the corpse to the team. I'm glad that he remained cool when ACP sir was shouting at him. 😆
I think the supporting actors, editing and pacing were fine, but the direction could've been much better, though it was better than Salil Singh's other recent episodes. Team distribution wasn't very good, IMO.
I think that with a slightly better improvisation in the ending of the plot and rectifying the mistakes, the episode could've been much better. But I'm glad they're going for better stories now than what they usually did last year.
