Yes. The background voice says aakhir kya hain Abhijeet ke ateet ka raz jiske vajay se wo chhor raha hain CID.

I guess, that terrible shock treatment, beacuse of that abhi will see more of him doing evil deeds in the past, and will decide to leave CID as he'll think himself as a criminal....

I think it is nonsense. If Abhijit is under villains control, he will not resign from CID. if he does th is , sure they can't play with him.

or else, he is still free to think.

You still expect them to go per promo? well I dont........we'll see the episode will tell a whole different story than the promo......and eventually at the end of the series, It will have no connection with Abhi's past actually. It'll be like some drama/game they'd made us fooled of!
