the name of the case is "the case of two blackmailers"- the guy whose body is found is a photographer who was blackmailing people along with a partner. abhi's friend whom he approaches to magnify the recording gave them a false pic and kept the true pic himself as he recognised the real person and decided to do a blackmailing stint of his own but got murdered as someone burnt down his place. however,he had given the hard disk of his computer in which the original video recording was there to one of his friends, CID team recover that.

it is a 2003 case

my que is -is daya senior inspector or just inspector? If he is sn. In. When he was promoted?

Daya sir is Senior Inspector .... they didn't show him specially being promoted .... it just happened around 2007/8 when they started talking of him as Senior Inspector

but when he came back after "beherupiya",he said, " INSPECTOR daya reporting on duty"...and i cant recall any case where they talked of him as sr inspector😕

He was Inspector till 2008 .... after that he slowly turned on to be Sr.Inspector .... at some moments ... they just casually show him calling himself inspector ... just to show he's from police side !!!
