I feel that the old crew of the PT should be changed and the old crew should come back. The old crew really understood crime and that the audience realizes the limit of fact and fiction. They kept the audience engaged with the rising action, climax etc.., and left no room for any redundant scenes.

Which also reminds me, the time should be reduced, because it usually goes waste into useless topics and scenes.

Seems to be a good option. If another channel takes over CID, they would probably allow FW to have a free hand and not force 7 shows on them every week. If KBC could shift from Star to Sony, why can't CID shift to Star or Zee?

I have no problem watching CID on any other channel. Mujhe sirf trio se matlab hai.

This not possible. KBC is not an original concept from Siddharth Basu. This concept has to be brought from an external company and hence this shift is possible.

The famous show "Koffee With Karan" is an original concept with Star, Karan Johar cannot take to to another channel. Like "Sa Re Ga Ma" was Gajendra Singh's brainchild but Zee has rights over it when he decided to move on to a another channel, he had to leave the name behind. Similarly if we want CID to leave SONY then it means we have to do away with the name CID and other things as well. So it not CID anymore.

Whether we like it or not
CID = TRIO + FW + SONY
If anything in this equation changes its not CID but something else.

According to me if we want CID like old era...they must consider all points which have given by above...but first and most imoratant thing is that just stop bi-weekl format with immediate effect.
