There's nothing wrong with having a different opinion or liking something others don't, but the problem arises when the person doesn't listen to what the seniors say and opens the same kind of threads again and again, to the point of annoyance. For example there were at least a hundred "Who's better Abhi or Daya?" polls opened despite repeatedly being told that such stuff is not appreciated here.

The idea of open forum is very interesting. Everyone has the freedom to say what they what. BUT freedom has to be respected and not taken for granted. So many of us put so much thoughts into how to get the forum to discuss something that's more worthwhile. Something when anyone from Fireworks reads will have something positive to take back but what do we end-up discussing who should end up with whom. This CRIME DETECTION for God's sake.

This forum has so many teenagers and its not a great trend to see them only discussing who's hot, who's not and love stories.

Sorry for late reply just came online. I have already said in previous thread bhavna opened I am saying it again rules have to be made by moderator and that thread has to be made sticky. I know its open forum.but title of thread should be such that new members firstly read that and second of all any senior active members here find foolish polls be opened warn them via PM or any senior active member should be given special powers so that that person can act directly. Till date best we can do is avoid participating.

I will never discourage participation. its just that the questions weren't clear to me, I was trying to understand the point of view for the questions.

i have an opinion , we first have to collect the forum instructions( a set of rules) from all members and the admn has to filter it and make the final code of conduct. then post it to all members and make sure hat the new member is having an access to it. i believe it work.

@sunny I agree with you,it's not these new member's fault, they don't join in by knowing everything before hand after all it just 2-3 days since they join in so we can't expect them to know what the majority wants beforehand so that's where the presence of a rules and regulations thread is required,I very well remember when I was new to this forums I went through some senior member's(like Prabha di,Visrom,Drilabh etc.) posts to understand what is this forum all about and what type of discussions take place here and I loved it that proper CID is discussed in this forum,I was very new to CID so this forum for me was like an encyclopedia to me through which I understood the real essence of CID but its been from the last 2-3 weeks that this trend has increased so since I got to know of CID mainly through this forum seeing such topics in this forum is what hurts me so that's why I want a rules page here its necessary.
So all I can say is as far as the senior member thing is concerned all of you are right, these peoples voice shoul be heard

Chinnu , please do not take any general comment as a personal attack. This is not the first time this is happening.

Hey guys sorry for the too late response actually I am a bit unwell and doc advised me to stay away from pc for some days, I jus came 2 chk the mails and saw bhavana's pm cant resist myself from saying this. The core problem here is the moderators are rarely active and involved in discussions. Those mentally as well as physically involved with signature campaign know what trouble and stress have been gone through to get back the better version of CID. Be it Abhi Tarika flirting or Freddy's jokes some way or the other it affects those character that we love and are emotionally involved with since years. Such character degradation cant be taken by a true CID fan, thus we came up with signature campaign. I repeated myself over and over by saying if you are a true fan of CID as a crime investigation department a mystery series please do not ask for such things to be repeated, but seems its not working. the same thing is repeated by different members like Prabha,Visrom, Bhavana, Shagnika, and many more in different words but seems no one is just interested. Paying no heed to these threads is not working now chinu we need to take some drastic steps by all of us either pming to the moderator or some other option if possible if anyone else can come up with.
