Yeah, I did not have one either though I had started visiting the Cyber Cafes occasionally by then. Remember the struggle with Dialup connection and Mom's 😡 looking at the telephone bills. I have had so many scolding thanks to the telephone bill. I am glad Dialup is history.

My first PC came after Y2k. It had become a Necessity due to my education. With the PC came a internat offer and being the first month I used it to my heart's content and then was greeted with the Mom's scolding after the first bill. She started to watch my usage and if she ever saw me reading entertainment news, hell would break loose and the connecting wire would be taken away.

I had to pay for it from my own pocket. Dad didn't buy one for me. Had to depend on college computer lab and favours from the lab assistant for printouts.

And there used to be things called 'libraries', you know. 😆

When I was in tenth, probably in the year 2000, we use to call those people going to cyber cafe and doing chatting as bad people. I remember my neighbor saying, Cyber cafe gaya hain begadh jayega. 😆

Though we got pc in the year 2003 we never visited cyber cafe. It was later when I had to go to cyber cafe for my project and then did I get acquainted to chatting and all.

When I first visitied cyber cafe for some information on projects, I remember i took a book there to take down the information and my friend said Sneha are you nut take a CD or floppy naa....

However today's media has already reached even the small children.....

woo !! Wow nice PC getting experiences !!! 😛 well PC came to our house when I was in class 8,I guess !!! But even more than PC i love my laptop !! I mean there's this thing in our house that the pc is for the whole family but my lappy is mine !!! 😃 More over I bought the lappy with my money that I got as a prize from NASA (obviously dad had to add some amount) but my laptop is mine and I love it !!! but haan even though we had PC in house when I was in 8th there was no net connection till I was in 10th !! Reason-Younger brother will get deviated !! Uff !! but then once my laptop came we took net connection along with it as well and these days I pay for my own net usage !!! all thanks to the combined Diwali story we wrote !! Well the bill which usually comes around 2000 came 4000 this time thanks to our late night chats and all !!! My mom sweetly came to me that day and pyaar se put that bill in front of me and before I could say anything very sweetly said "Sweety these are going from your account" !!! Well since the I've decided to pay for my own net usage !!

Not sure how many of you are aware but I got to know about this today. Rohit Shetty (Dir of Golmaal series) is the son of MB Shetty, who used to be a Fight Master and played Villian on screen in the 70s. I very clearly remember his role in Amitabh Bachchan's Don.

MB Shetty

Yeah in the episode of KBC with Rohit Sheety, he told his young age experiences and said that he had gone fmto Amit ji for some help. Then it struck my mom's mind that he might be MB shetty's son as MB shetty was very close to Amitabh then.... So yeah, i hadsome sort of idea about it! Thanks to you(prabha di) i am confirmed now! 😃

Does anyone know the real name of this actor who played Parveen Babi's Bodyguard - Zibisco in Amar Akbar Anthony. He was a common face on the 70, would always end-up getting beaten up by the hero. Wonder where he is.
