There was an ad in Times of India about this show. I really didn't like this avtar of hers. She was lovely as Asha. Debayon mentioned another show, which I've never had time to see. Maybe she has done a good job there.

I don't mind actors playing villainous characters, but cannot see them act in such meaningless stories about Pavitra saabit hona and crap.

There are some vampish characters which I liked....one I remember is Devika in Swabhimaan (Mita Vashisth).

Exactly a role is a role be it negative or positive, my problem is the themes of such shows. What Pratha and all. Secondly they start is as trying to make a diference to the society but ultimately end up showing a tortured soul. The more the leading lady is torutured the more audience seem to like it. Thats all.

Speaking of Adalat, I remember a show on DD2 called Kanoon, starring Pankaj Dheer. I used to love it. Anyone remembers?

There used to be a contest in the end, and I remember pestering my dad to buy competition post cards to participate in that. 😆 (Anyone remembers what these are)

In one episode, Ashok Kumar had come to pick the winner. It was so good.

YES I remember Kanoon very well. Pankaj Dheer is one of the actors I like. His role in Kanoon, Mahabharat were brilliantly done. He has, I don't know how to put it, there is strange silence around him. therav is not the word I am looking for. Whatever it is I used to like his presence.

and now you are sending sms to the reality shows 😆. that's the spirit.

I used to post answers in a special post card, it is necessary to have a different type of post card, I guess. now there is nothing like that , sms every where.

I used to participate in Contests for JUNGLE BOOK. The competition poat card used to cost more and used to be out of stock many times. Had to study for longer to get mom to buy me one.

No words can express how much I love the character of Karna after I saw Pankaj Dheer perform. He is my favourite Mahabharat character.

I have a better collection because I live near post office. so I will call the post man uncle and book my cards. but didn't get any prizes ever. I am so bad in luck.

at that time there was duradarshan only and I used to watch all these serials.

i remember my grand father reading the written update of mahabharath. we keralites are weak in hindi , so every sunday news paper will have the complete script of todays episode. he will read it loud and i was not at the age of reading and writing, so i will listen.

You spoke my mind. He is my most favorite character in Mahabharat. I think Pankaj Dheer had the perfect eyes for this charatcer. They had pain, determination, everything that makes Karan. Just like Arun Govil is Ram, Nitish Bharadwaj is Krishna, Pankaj Dheer is Karan, no one after him can give Karan what he gave.
