Right in the first scene where she was about to be kidnapped, she asks her fiancee to help her and what does he do - scold her for wanting to drive on the highway. Ok, he may be angry that it was her idea, but was that the time or occassion to scold her? $%^$%^&*^#$^% guy. I don't want to be reported for abuse. I hated him in that first scene itself.
He was much much more worse than a guy who sells girls for money.
Why did Vijay get attracted to her? She was talking to him like a friend when he was the guy who kidnapped her. She was helping him gather sticks when he was the guy who was going to sell her off. She was not showing any kind of hatred. She was enjoying the time she was spending with him, as if she was on a picnic. She tried to escape into the forest and then came back to him...that slight half smile he gives her when she comes into the room and lies down shows that she had won his heart.
I wish I could see it all again.....

Third when she tells him about her trauma (that reminded me of Adi Sir in Bandit Queen). Look at his expressions when she hugs him. First she hugs him, then he puts one arm around her and seeing she needed support further he then puts his second arm around her.

Finally is the last scene from the time she comes looking for him till the very end, and the dialogs just take your heart away. Their discussion about how much time they can spend with each other if police caught then at different points. Amazing.

These are my all time favs..was going to mention them..but u did all of it!!! 👏 truly speaking i dont have enough words to explain how much i loved the episode...loved Adi Sir loved katika mam....such a wonderful pair...😳loved the scene where Vijay says : Hum dono ka mel nahi ho sakta
...and in the last scene...when he says: achha hua tu aa gayi
Veera: Kya?
Vijay: ab bol diya na ekbaar😳😍

Yeh to episode aisa hai ji ki from Adi Sir's entry till the very end you can discuss each second, each dialog, each expression. Not a single loophole, not a single useless shot. Everything was just so perfect, so well made. Kudos to the creative team as well.

I was actually fearing that they may show a negative ending....like the police capturing him and she getting married to that %^&%^&$ fiancee of hers.
There was that old movie of Kamal Hassan and Sridevi....where she loses her memory. He looks after her and one fine day she regains her memory and forgets him completely. OOooh...how much I hated that movie because of the ending!!!
I feared this one would end like that too. But thanks to Imtiaz... it was a very very nice ending and we all feel good once it's over.

Talking about the creative team. As @visrom brought to our notice that this it is Imtiyaz Ali's brain child, story screenplay and direction (right?)

I think he has made 3 films till date - Socha Na Tha, Jab We Met and Love Aaj Kal. Have you noticed that one of his leading pair, mostly the lady is always very different than the usual? In Socha Na Tha, it was Abhay Deol, he was strange, the way he went about things, I found him weird. In Jab We Met it was Geet, her whole approach towards life is not the usual way, she was so different, a class apart. In Love Aaj Kal, I found Deepika's character very different from the usual, from her first meeting with Saif to their mutual breakup to divorce on the wedding night. She was strange.

Similarly here, his leading lady Veera is so different, you think an ordinary girl would talk like that with Vijay knowing what he is going to do with her next. She was different from the usual, even her final decision was so different, may be impractical but still she stuck to it. She was different but believable.

yes the movie was SADMA ...i remember the last scene in the station..god, soo sad...😭😭 i somehow dont want movies to end sadly, makes me remain sad for a long time..".HAPPYS ENDINGS " or may be endings like HIGHWAy leave a good impression on us...they make us smile😃....in this one, we were not told what exactly happens to them..but they analyse evry possibility so beautifully!!! te thing abt spending time for one day, then 2 hrs and finally "abhi to saath hain na" and then the ray of hope..."shayad kabhi bhi na pakad paaye..hum shaadi kar lein.aur humare 10 bachhe ho"
veera : Ho sakta hai..par 10 bachhe?
Vijay: 8
Veera: Pagal ho gaye ho kya? Dekho na peeche police ki gari to nahi hai na?
Vijay: Abhi to nahi hai, lekin aa jayegi😆

I would have hated that and the whole point of the bonding would be lost. Getting married to that jerk would have been a total mess. Me too hated Sadma for the ending, such a stupid ending.

You bet that question lingers in my mind all the time. It just takes a little bit of effort but no one wants to work hard these days.
