Here's a short update of the whole story of this week's CID SB esp. for vat269. I remembered my coolbie days. I started as a coolbie for this sectionđ. I might have missed some stuff as I don't remember it exactly.
The story starts with CID SB team reaching an accident spot where an Inspector is found dead. On inspection it's found that the police jeep has been tampered with and someone must have made this accident to happen to kill that Inspector. Further probing the case they learn that this Inspector was working on a disappearance case of a girl named Anu. CID SB team meets Anu's brother & wife but they are clueless about the incident and are least bothered to find this girl's whereabouts. That makes CID team suspicious. Brother & wife produce some letter they received from Anu saying that she is fine. On inspection Dr.Niyati finds out that this letter was not written by Anu but someone else.
It seems she disappeared from 10:30 local train. This girl's friend disappears from the same train too. Stallwalas at the railway station tell CID SB team that this girl was traveling with a child. That train goes to Pune and questioning many people in Pune, they find that there was a child with this girl and both of them used to live in an apartment. When Pratap poses as a politician and goes to that apartment and finds the missing friend there. She asks him to go away but he asks for water and she goes to bring water but never returns. Pratap goes inside and finds her dead and also finds some things that indicate a child living there. On further enquiry they find that that child is in fact a dwarf. This dwarf used to work for a construction company and made duplicate keys for this apartment and was living there.
Pratap also finds Anu's bhaiya & bhabhi there and they offer some bribe to him to back off this case. They say that in Anu's absence he will be the owner of entire property. They are scoffed at by Pratap and the rest. CID team reaches dwarf's house only to find him dead with a suicide note taking all blame to himself. He killed that friend girl when Pratap was in the house and escaped. The letter matched with the one Anu's bhaiyya & bhabhi provided to the bureau in the beginning. On further investigation they find that an office colleague of Anu wrote the letter. Also it is found that Anu had a life insurance policy and the nominee was this guy.
When CID team reaches that guy's house, they find him watching TV. He sists there cool when Akshay threatens to kill him, a girl comes out of the room crying. That girl was Anu. Anu & this guy are lovers and they planned the whole thing. They hired this dwarf and put the whole case to confuse CID and escape with insurance money.
