Abhijeet with a girl friend . Ok fine. At first the heart did do a somersault but on closer observation , no feeling of jealousy. Abhijeet's eyes don't have a sense of belonging, of having reached the heart's haven, of saying to the world "she is mine." He is touching the girl as if he must, not because he wants to.

Of course this is only my reading.
