Yes, Viren, Asha and Daya Sir were part of the team but not part of this episode. Only Sudhakar, Michael and Vivek were part of the Team. If you check the end credits of the case you will still their names. That sequence is right, no problem there.

@bento The first part of "THE CASE OF THE INVISIBLE KILLER" was aired today around 12:40-12:45. Its the same case you see during the end credits of "THE CASE OF THE VANISHING LADY"

CID team is on their way back after an outing when they meet Asha's Chemistry Professor Dr Anand at a petrol pump. Dr Anand is on his way to meet his student. When he reaches there he finds that his student has committed suicide. He informs Asha and ACP. As soon as the CID Team reaches outside the student's house they hear a gun shot being fired and they find Dr Anand dead. How did the killer escape in the presence of the CID and who killed Dr Anand is an interesting case to see.

A builder is shot from a building, CID caches a pickpocket-er who gives CID a briefcase which he had stolen from the bus stand, the briefcase has a pistol and photo of the victim.

If Abhi Sir is part of both the cases then, I don't think "THE CASE OF THE RED CLOTH" can be a repeat telecast in Dec 1999. Because since Abhi Sir entered almost all slots for cases have been filled, it can't be a repeat fron before he came. I doubt these are 1999 cases, they were possibly aired in 2000. I have read a report about CID team's outdoor sequence at Borivili bus stand around Sept 2000 which was similar to the final scene in "THE CASE OF THE PICKPOCKET'S CLUE". But this is all guess work.

Oh I did not realize that. Which means this leads to these two sequences based on the preview in end-credits.

hmmm Sequence 1 seems to be accurate since we have names of two cases before "THE CASE OF THE RED CLOTH" and it all seems to fall in place. Is there any case which has preview of "THE CASE OF THE MAN WITH MANY NAMES" in the end-credits?
