Awkward scenes - Daya and Abhijeet - Page 2

We have to understand that characters are just puppets in the hands to the director. The director is pressed for time and he needs to finish this story now giving a perfect ending. The last shot where Abhi Sir throws the ring had to be a lonely moment to give the perfect end. That wouldn't have been the same even if it had even one more person in the frame, not even Daya Sir. Which is why Daya Sir was abruptly made to leave the scene, else we know what bond these guys share, so its not the character that is at fault here.

This discussion is a proof that the director achieved what he set out to do, he has the right chord. The audience understood Abhi Sir's state of mind, his loneliness so well that we have not liked Daya Sir leaving like that.

I like to understand why something was filmed the way it is, what the writer/director thought when they shot a certain scene I liked or did not like. I like to understand wht went on behind the scene too.

well guyz. wat Daya said ws fr Abhijeet's future. well if he didnt say that thr is no place fr loveromance i CID or that achcha hua tumne kadam nai badhaaya, then Abhijeet wud b sad fr a longer time. now that he knew that his best best buddy is not sad coz he lost his bhabi, then Abhi also can b happy! thats wats called finding happieness in others! 😊

I perfectly understand that the director wanted to have a perfect ending. What I suggested was Daya could have have just given Abhijeet a pat or a smile and gone away. I don't think that cid team is a puppet in the hands of the director. Daya, Dinesh phadnis are all associated with the creative team. They have written a couple of stories themselves. I think they have the freedom to make suggestions regarding the execution of certain scenes.

this is really a very stupid logic. Please excuse me for saying this. lets suppose that a person loses his lover. Do you mean to say that he should be happy because his friends are okay with it and didn't even care to console him!

No yaar, you don't understand. How can Daya not understand him? They have been best friends for so many years. He did his best to console him. What would expect him to say: "Yaar tu ne asi galti kyun ki? Acchi-khasi ladki ko chod diya tume?". That wuld have been even more offensive. I think what Daya did was perfectly coherent and sane.

its ok! i no hw u felt wen Daya did that but still it does make some sense. Daya didnt want to hurt Abhijeet by sayin that he shudnt hav let her go coz then Abhi wud hav no choice. he cant get her coz shez married n he cudnt leave her coz EVEN his frnd thinks the same.

I saw nothing wrong in what Daya Sir did, nothing rude, offensive or insensitive. We are saying this about Daya Sir, who would have landed in the Hospital fighting for his own life had he not had the bullet proof jacket on during the shootout in this same story. And all that for whom, Viren??? No for Abhi Sir. How would it have helped Abhi Sir had Daya Sir made a long face, looking sad and pating his back. Instead he ask if he can go, asking in away ki should I stay or go. What if Abhi wanted to be alone and Daya Sir would have been sticking by his side unnecessarily. When one is heart broken, usually they would like to be left alone rather than having people around looking sad. He said it good that Abhi Sir did not move further by expressing his feeling to Shruti, I think only a best buddy could say something like that. Tumhare saath kitna bura hua kehne wale kai mil jayenge but only one's best buddy can foresee the what could have happened had Viren returned after Abhi Sir proposed to Shruti.

yeah. n the second point i ws goin 2 say is our Daya - Abhi frndship is like no ordinary ones. so it ws kind of Daya to say Abhijeet that he didnt go frward warna c Shruti n Abhi will b sad coz even wen they love each other they cant b together. well ab if Abhijeet likes her to she will also like him n if not then still she'll b a bit shocked. 3 Viren wud b dissappointed that his wifey is not happy. Binnie also. Shru wudnt b able to concentrate on her. n the most of all DAYA. he'll b sad coz Abhijeet is sad.
