They are showing 2 hour special episodes more frequently nowadays, celebrities like Salman Khan have acted in one of the episode. Not to forget CID has a complete new look. The cases are detailed and don't seem rushed.

Along side they are showing the epic episodes of CID. When CID started off, it didn't have the entire flashy look but it had some fantastic officers like Sudhakar, Muskaan, and Dr Niyati. They had one hour to wrap up the case, which means less commercials.

Both have there set of pros and cons. I would like to know which ones you are enjoying more.

I feel the old epi's are better because of 3 reasons:

1) Better CID officers(Sudhakar, Asha, Daksh etc.)

2) Better technique of solving the crimes

3) Nostalgia

CID classics anyday! Lately, I have been watching two hr specials but I must say that they just drag the case for one more hour.. that's it. Thus, it becomes boring. I wish they could solve two cases in two hours.. And I never liked those beherupiya epi's.. OMG! Killing one of CID officers! that's just too emotional and terrible to watch! I think CID creatives must stop killing cid officers and focus on murder cases of people instead!🤓

^^ Agreed! The episode where Daya was called really got me emotional. Freddy crying over a dead Daya..what the heck!! We see enough emotional dramas in daily soaps, we dont want to see these in Crime Investigation Department.

Like you said, I dont mind 2 cases in 2 hours either..whats the point of 2 hours when they just drag😕,its not gaining them trps.

Some CID better than no CID but if we have to chose, then the Classics. Don't want CID dragging.. have enough of that in the other shows!

well, as a matter of watching ..... i can see CID the whole day😉😆😳
BUT 2 hour special means - long ads, more dragging of the case, unusual suspects & so on😕
i like to watch CID classic cases instead of 2 hour special ...... they can show 2 hour special in some SPECIAL occasions or festivals but showing 2 hour episode every Friday or after every 2-3 episode will only make us feel bore

i am liking the old episodes of CID ...... i must agree that the concept, investigation styles, story plot etc were much better BUT i really don't find anyone (other than daya, acp, abhi & even fredie), whom i want to see again and again or whom i want to see back in the show ...... it's only my personal view😊

I like the CID Classic Cases better.

The 2 hour special one's aren't even 1 hour. No offence, but they are also very boring...

please dont kill any cid officer never ever .if it happens all cid fans will stop watching cid.as acp sir, abhijeetand daya sir, and off course fredricksir are the soul of cid if anybody quits the show will collapse and your trp will be zero. so please dont do this not now in upcoming 29 jan. episode or in future .
