i believe the king mentioned in the preview id not samar singh...cos if it is then im really confused... as far as i kno samar singh died as a matyr in the2nd battle of terrain fought between mohammad ghori n prc... n prc was captured then vich let to the downfall of a strong empire delhi...mohammadghori died in 1206 ad...then after wards the slave dynasty came in n after tat khilji dynasty came in ...
This was the period when the nobles placed Jalaluddin Khilji on the throne. This marked the beginning of Khilji dynasty. The rule of this dynasty started in 1290 AD. Alauddin Khilji a nephew of Jalaluddin Khilji hatched a conspiracy and got Sultan Jala-lud din killed and proclaimed himself as the Sultan in 1296. so allahudin khilji died in 1316AD...he ruled from 1296 to 1316.
so no chance of samar coming in...i think the king mentioned in chittor is sme1 who raised n brought up ranaratan singh .mayb his uncles or his closed relatives!

As per my understand, I think Padi's rushing towards the jungle as that's probably where Rana fixed as the rendezvous point. Somewhere away from prying eyes ready to gossip and belittle. Or at least I hope so as it seems Rana's quite desperate to meet her.
As for the goons, I think they were sent by Malkhan Singh. Don't worry, Rana's on hand and Padi is almost as good as him so both will teach him a lesson rather than the other way round!
