I loved A R Rahman's musical score, and the direction and acting was great. The one thing I thing I thought could have been developed was the relation between Latika and Jamal, it seemed a bit too 'Bollywood'. They didn't have that many scenes together, but somehow Jamal knew she was his destiny?

Highlight it...
when he lost everything, while he was kid,( except brother ) , even mother, home. then lathika was his friend, and he spent a little best time with her, living in slums, then with other children (then too both of them were together for a long time), whether she was his destiny or not. Even if it was not abt destiny, that early friendship with her, always made him feel that she was an important person in his life. Bcoz she was the one person, who made him smile and happy in childhood.

I rate it a 10/10 . Would have given it more , but since 10 is the limit....

Everything was fabulous in the movie....the locales , the perfomances , the background score , a taut screenplay and first rate direction....its a movie very Indian at heart , the entire cast is Indian / of Indian origin , and of course based on Q & A , but the treatment has completely made it different from a typical Bollywood potboiler .
