Hey Guys,
Introducing

OPINION OF THE WEEK.

Every week we will try to have a new thing as Opinion of the week.

It can be the lastest film, book, show, news or just anything!

So this week, it's the film

Slumdog Millionaire.

Based on Vikas Sawrup's novel 'Q&A', the film is a heart-warming story of an 18 year-old slum boywho goes on to win a staggering 20 million rupees on India's 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?' game show.

The Hollywood movie about a Mumbai orphan on Who Wants to be a Millionaire, played by an unknown British actor, has won five US Critics' choice Awards. It picked up Best Director, Best Writing, Best Young Actor/Actress, Best Composer, and Best Picture. It has won sooooooo much more than this though, check it out.

I am sure we have all heard of this big film. It was released first in November (a limited release) but only just now in the UK/India.

However in India, due to the change in the show name, it will be Slumdog Crorepti

So lets hear your opinion on the film.😛

AND give it a Rating out of 10 if you have seen it.

I really want to watch it....but no time as of exams😳

Regards

GD DT.

this film is fantastic, i loved it, its not action packed its not complicated its just a simple but brilliant film, it didnt cost much to make but it will earn mega millions, i rate this movie 10/10.
the bit that i didnt like was when a young saleem, jamal an latika are escaping from maman they run to a moving train an get on but when latika is trying to get on saleem lets go of her hand on purpose leaving her behind, she looks scared you can feel pang in the heart (am soppy i no) lol

I would probably give the film 9/10.

I loved A R Rahman's musical score, and the direction and acting was great. The one thing I thing I thought could have been developed was the relation between Latika and Jamal, it seemed a bit too 'Bollywood'. They didn't have that many scenes together, but somehow Jamal knew she was his destiny?
