Sita...even Urmila sacrificed a lot, but ultimately I think Sita sacrificed more because Urmila's suffering came to an end once Lakshman returned to Ayodhya, but Sita sacrificed her entire life and happiness for the wellbeing of her husband, and in the end, she and Ram never had their happy ending.😭 I'm not undermining Urmila because I love her character a lot, but even while she sacrificed while staying back at Ayodhya, she lived in royal comforts and had the love and support of the Rajmatas and her sisters, whereas Sita suffered the hardships of the forest and lived with the memories of Ramji during her stay at Valmiki's ashram.

Urmila or Radha (who sacrificed more?)

Ummm Radhaji i think...

It is great that Innocent love of Radha saw how cute & good Krishna is! She wanted the world should know this. Hence she gave the great sacrifice of her love forever...

But i have a doubt...

It is a belief after krishnaji went away radha ji got married to someone chosen by her Parents...

Is that True..😲...??????

Debina's Relation with Bauji in CG or With Dashrath and three Mothers in Ramayana...???

Hi, guys. Just breaking in to say ki I think you are right that Radhaji was married to someone after Krishna departed as per wishes of her family. I think both she and Krishna shared their divine love in Vrindavan as example to humanity of ultimate devotion, but their actual earthly grihastra was with other people. I like the way gods are always showing us through their lives how complicated and sometimes sad is human existence - but we must live nonetheless.

I was wondering too though - is not Radha sometimes also called as avatar? And of whom?

Hi guys,

As for the story of Radha, different versions say different things...as usual. In the Brahma Vaivarta Purana, I think it says that Radha married someone called Aryan, but in another purana it says that she stayed unmarried for life and always was devoted to Krishna.

Radha is none other but the avatar of Lakshmi...in fact, she and Rukmini were the same and images of each other, because remember, Lord Vishnu could never love someone who is not Lakshmi, even on Earth. In Brahma Vaivarta Purana, Shridhama, who is a devotee of RadhaKrishna, cursed them to be separated for life.

What happened was that one day in Golok, Krishna was with another gopi in a garden and had told Shridhama to guard them by the gate so that no one came in. When Radha found out that Krishna was with another gopi, she told Shridhama to move aside and let her enter the garden. When he refused, she got angry and cursed him that he would be reborn on Earth and be away from Krishna's service, and in retaliation Shridhama also cursed her that she and Krishna would be reborn on Earth, fall in love with each other, but never marry.

There is another story that someone called Aryan did tapasya to Lord Vishnu and when he came in front of him, asked that he could marry Mata Lakshmi herself.😲 Vishnu warned him that Lakshmi would never love him even if he did marry her, but when Aryan persisted, he agreed since he grants the boons of all his devotees. So Lakshmi came in the form of Radha and married Aryan, but she never loved him as a husband and only had the form of Krishna in her heart. She also came as Rukmini and the other seven wives and got married to Krishna eight times to make up for her separation from him as Radha. So Radha and Krishna's eight principal wives were all forms of Lakshmi.

There is yet another version that says that Radha and Krishna did secretly marry each other in Vrindavan, but that when Krishna had to go to Mathura, he told her that he would never come back, and Radha sacrificed him and remained unmarried for life.

I guess we will never really know which version is true, because there are sooo many, but in my heart, Radha belongs to Krishna only whether she did marry Aryan or not, because they are LakshmiNarayan and can never be separated from each other in heart and mind.😳

Aww, hard question! But I think I will go with Bauji for this one, because Bauji and Mayuri's relationship was sooo sweet, whereas Debina did not really have too many scenes with Dashrath or the Rajmatas in Ramayan, wish there had been more.🤔

I Think in actual there must be More...Bcoz as far I can Imagine it dosent seems appropriate that as soon as Ram came Ayodhaya after being married, He was Given Vanvaas...

I Think they remained in Ayodhya for some months or a year after which Dashrathji decided to crown him....

Aww, thanks Varnita, but seriously, much of the stuff I know is hearsay and some of it is based on speculations. If you want hardcore facts, the people in our MM like Shivang, Vrish, Lola, Semanti, etc know a lot more, especially since they have read the actual scriptures like Valmiki Ramayana, the actual Mahabharata by Maharshi Vyasa, and such. I have learned so much from them since joining IF 3 1/2 years back.😊
