Yes, true, even Tom and Jerry e.g. My daughter and I feel so sorry for Tom being the scapegoat all the time, and my son and husband just laugh it off. Also the things they show are so violent, imagine I have heard stories of kids make-believing they are Superman and trying to fly off their house balconies, and falling to their death.
Its really a serious question - also depends on us parents to communicate what should be taken out of these programs.... the reality vs the creativity. 😃
Nice post, Chalhov...😊 Lot of points to ponder for all of us.

The Information & Broadcasting Ministry has served a notice to Bigg Boss 4 and Rakhi Ka Insaaf to be aired after 11pm as they are not suitable for viewing by children. The reality shows were being aired on prime time so far.

They have also been asked to carry a disclaimer that the shows are not suitable for viewing by children. Now, Bigg Boss will be aired at 11pm.

The news channels, too, have been instructed not to carry any of the scenes/shots from the shows.

Earlier, a civil court had served a notice to the chief executive officer (CEO) of Colors TV channel for showing vulgar content on reality show Big Boss and cheating the audience by organising the wedding of an already married couple.

Sameer Soni and Dolly sent out of Bigg Boss house..

Wednesday, November 17, 2010 | 3:18:13 PM IST (+05:30 GMT) Sameer Soni and Dolly sent out of Bigg Boss house..

COLORS' Bigg Boss is yet again in trouble as Dolly and Sameer's aggressive behavior has forced the Bigg Boss to send them out..

For the uninitiated, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry has declared that the two shows Bigg Boss on COLORS and Rakhi Ka Insaaf on Imagine are not fit for universal viewing and hence it cannot be aired before 11 PM. The Ministry has issued a directive to the channels to telecast their shows only between 11PM and 5 AM. Even the re-telecasts cannot be shown at a time slot other than this. In addition, both Bigg Boss and Rakhi ka Insaaf will have to carry a disclaimer saying it is not suitable for children and parents' discretion is required.

What about tha soaps showing adult themes?

And the Colors Big Boss circus continues.

Bigg Boss gets stay to show at 9 pm

Indiantelevision.com Team

(18 November 2010 4:00 pm)

MUMBAI: Pamela Anderson, the 43-year old buxom babe best known for her role in Baywatch series, will continue to appear at 9 pm as Bigg Boss gets a reprieve from the Bombay High Court to continue telecasting in its old time slot till Monday.

The court has stayed a government order directing Hindi general entertainment Colors to change the broadcast timings of Bigg Boss.

"Bigg Boss will continue to be telecast in the prime time slot of 9 pm. The next hearing is on Monday," says a company spokesperson.

The government had on Wednesday directed Colors and Imagine TV to shift the telecast timings of Bigg Boss and Rakhi Ka Insaaf to adult hours between 11 pm and 5 am.

Viacom 18, which owns and operates Colors, moved the Bombay High Court challenging the government's directive.

Colors continued to air Big Boss at 9 pm yesterday as Anderson, who will be participating on the show for four days, made her maiden appearance.

Colors contended in the court that no date has been mentioned as to when the show was against good taste and decency. The show has been on for one and a half months and the content can't be classified as obscene, Colors said.
