Spectacular Diwali for STAR Plus

Colors rises, Sony slides

The STAR Plus juggernaut rolls on, delivering a whopping 391 GRPs in week (TAM, HSM, CS4+), up from 379.

Colors also moved up, to 268 (250).

Sony slid to fourth place with 191 (208), while Zee was steady at 204 (203).

SAB rose smartly to 128, while Imagine was at 111.

Thanks Chalhov. So zee has not changed much....but I think zee is rattled. They have suddenly decided to show the wedding of the leads of the top show which has been dragged for almost a year and are also promoting it...... plus some twist in he DJS show is also being promoted. ...and ths carrots were sale on saturday and friday.😉...So zeez third positon is not because it has done well but because Sony has gone down.

Misti Seema despite all carrots like Misti says they only got one point but came third because Sony slid not because of points gained😉

Zee not able to raise up even with their high promotions. this shows how badly Zee has dipped down, while other top channels have scored some points.

Since the carrot in PR has been highly publisised the TRPs have increased for that show but JKR surprised me so I went to check what carrot has been given there.......and zee did not dissapoint me.😉😃 Gangadhar Rao will soon die.😉.......but the funny thing is that in the real story of JKR, Gangadhar Rao dies I think 1-2 years after the death of their son...the baby dies when the child was three months....interestingly currently it seems they are showing that Rani is three months pregnant. 😃....So I guess its now JKR and Gangadhar Raos turn for a ride on the Zee sponsored bullet train.😃😆 Oh and this monday they showed the part that was left as a cliff hanger on Saturdays ME....... manu, tatya guru and nana saheb fighting the angrez.😉

Absolutely correct.Sony has slide down&that is y Zee hs cme up.No big deal.They wl dwnslide again in d coming week.All their shws r super flop.D 2 new shws also wil flop.Even their promotions r nt going 2 work 4 them.Keep it up Zee.We will pray 4 ur dwnslide.NO CB2,NO ZEE.

Thanks chalhov:) zee had its diwali celebrations last sunday with akshay kumar and aishwarya rai on action replay special and sunday's ratings had mostly zee in the top ten. That should have helped zee in maintaining the total ratings(even if they are not high like daily show ratings). Zee to have shows at 6 & 6:30pm? All desperate measures to consolidate their 3rd place.
Misti, the JKR makers have been asked by the channel to do another show called Alha Udal. It'll also be a historical and this time its two rajput generals who worked under Raja Piramal of Mahoba. Its set in MP. God knows whats in store for them...

Priyanka they must have paid a lot of amount to get them on the show for getting and improving their position. Thanks for the news about new shows there is more info in the home section one more tellybuzz item about the casting of a new show.

Chalhov, I think this show will be one of the two new shows coming at 6&6:30pm. I edited the info abt the historical in my previous post. Here is another interesting bit i got from the tc article. "Alha was immortal as goddess Durga has said to have given him a magical sword and super natural powers. He won the first war against Prithviraj and later after the second war he disappeared in the forests". I wonder how all this is going to be presented....
