Loved to read the long update on Devs guilt his talk with Dadi and then both of them coming out with their guilt. but ur precap is more interesting.Imarti is quite resourceful in getting what she wants😆 Also Kaam and Vaishali and ofcourse the jealous Dev.😆 So Kaam has got a house nearby and no wonder Dev does not like it. Also Devs resentment and anger towards Mahant, amma and Shastriji.

Angie it was very good. I liked dadima and Devs talk specially dadimas realisation that why will Radhika trust them when she has been dissapointed all her life and her tust in others have been broken repeatedly. I know that Dev loves her and would have been by her side (I am talking about the time before the accident) , but Radhika has never got that trust in her life and it was a huge step for her to get over the mental barrier.......she needed a push .I liked the way you tied all of dadimas behaviour. Good work.

Imarti is a gem when it comes to entertaining anyone. If I had been in that house I would have made sure that Imarti is always around Dev.........non-stop entertainment. Also liked Vaishali..........she is a good person but tends to get misguided quickly........but she also usually realises her mistakes and accepts it. Ahh so now Vaishali is getting jealous about Kaams mother........

Chalhov, thanks. Imarti is one of the most intelligent characters at PB and is like a breath of fresh air for PF. She is sharp, shrewd, somewhat self-centered like Dev but good at heart. So, both Dev and Imarti clash with each other and yet have great liking for one another.

Kaam in my FF is a happy and carefree person. He and Radhika were brought up in same type of families, but had different upbringings because of attitude of their respective families towards adopted kids. Dev and Kaam will always clash as Radhika is a bone of contention for them. Dev is a possessive and traditional person where Radhika is concerned. Vaishali is a good person and has paid for her mistakes, but has to acknowledge them and learn that her superstitions caused a lot of problems for her family.

Dev never liked Amma, but always had tremendous respect for Shastriji. But, he is slowly realizing that Shastriji's weakness is his mother and that was the reason for Radhika's miseries. Once he deals with his own demons, he will deal with Amma.

Angie by the way are you planning on bringing any self realisation to Radhika that if she does something wrong and she is told off for her mistake then that does not mean that the person will stop liking/loving her...that arguments are part and parcel of life. One needs to talk, discuss things, solve the issues and the go on with life. If the creatives had shown Devs anger at her when the first marriage truth came out then they could have tackled this issue.........I mean Dev supporting her in public but being angry at her when just the two of them are together. She needs to be made to understand that there are boundaries in any relationship.

Why3, Enjoyed reading the conversation between Dev and Dadima. Dev always talked to dadima about everything . That's why it was unbelievable when the two didn't connect in the later part of CB. Vaishali never had any close relationship with Vivek or Dev. I can understand she being jealous about Kaam and his Mom.
Thank you for the update. Waiting for Dev and Radhika's confrontation.

Misti, that is my plan. Haven't quite figured out that part totally yet. A big part of it will come in the next couple of parts as there is regret in Radhika's mind. We were all hoping that there would be several episodes with their relationship becoming strained due to her mistakes and she acknowledging them to Dev during last April. Of course, it didn't happen and they didn't show it any of her conversations with Dev even after 5 years. Instead, they made Abhay also like old Radhika.

So, I am going to first make Dev face his mistakes and then he will have a discussion in several stages with Radhika until she finally understands about boundaries. Since, they regressed her again by showing Radhika's old behavior towards Vishaka during the last days when she brought her back to PB, I have to show Dev finally making her understand it now. I do have a scene in mind where Dev removes Radhika's illusion about Shastri women and then she acknowledging her mistakes. But, it is not properly formed at this stage. As I have said many times in the past, Dev was always my favorite character and until he is back to where he was in terms of old character, I can not do justice to Radhika's characterization.

The next few parts are now going to be concentrated on Dev and Radhika and hopefully I can write them properly. This was my biggest expectation from the show. Of course, the creatives themselves ruined the complexity of their characters.

Now that I am writing I have realized how important is to write in a way that keeps your characters consistent. Many times I am not successful because I am not a writer and have sometimes difficulty expressing in words some of my thoughts about various characters. But, how can professional writers who have experience writing for so many shows ruin their own characters?

So Old Dev is coming out--Dadi is pleased and so are we...

CB1 had so much potential, so many complex issues that could have been well dealt with--but instead we got some stupid, ritualistic, behavior....In the creative field of TV serials where plagiarism is rampant--someone can take CB1 and combine it with your FF and they will have the best TV serial in the history of the industry----

"Now that I am writing I have realized how important is to write in a way that keeps your characters consistent. Many times I am not successful because I am not a writer and have sometimes difficulty expressing in words some of my thoughts about various characters. But, how can professional writers who have experience writing for so many shows ruin their own characters?".....You are right Why3, why did the writers of CB1 not maintain the basic character traits, they had developed in their characters--you wonder, if there is too much meddling from the business people and the pressure in maintaining the so called TRP's, that they themselves destroy what they so beautifully create----

I am so appreciative of your taking on this task of tying all these loose ends..liked the way you dealt with feelings of remorse and guilt making at least some of the characters realize the errors in their judgments and actions towards another..

"Once you start tolerating injustices, you lose your moral standing
"...what a profound statement. It should be listed as one of the "quotes" for everyone to use...

Dadi-Dev interaction in earlier part of CB1 was so beautifully portrayed and the conversation in this episode made me nostalgic for those moments. This episode brought out the true meaning of a relationship--emotional closeness and trust; loss of which is more detrimental to a relationship than anything else

And I just love your Imarti-----your have created an absolutely amazing character... Her intelligence, her smartness, her manipulativeness, her love and caring and possessiveness towards those she loves all of it is just delightful to read;---and Rubina was playing that role so well---if only, if only Zee exec were half as smart as Imarti,...............CB1 would have rocked.....

"How could Babuji bring her back to our house and then allow her to torture Radhika? This still irritate me and the same question repeated in my mind many many times.. anyway..
Ok.. so loved it.. especially Daadi's talk and her reasoning.. it totally make sense.. because many of time we asked why Daadi is not responding or praising or saying good about Radhika.. but yes, you were able to find an absolute reason there.. I loved that reasoning That she loved Dev over Radhika..a dn that is logical and all her actions are justified just through your explanation... now waiting for Radev convo...
thanks for the update angie...

These professional writers ruined the characters and the tracks because they were not interested in carrying this story forward. What I could guess from the way they were handling CB, most probably they had been told to write so that enough TRPs come in.....and to drag the story because they were interested in bringing in other shows but needed something to keep the audience "happy" with when they were busy striking deals and finalising the other shows.

Angie you are a good writer.......You are using logic to write the screenplay and also to develop the characters. You are also taking care that the finished product is well polished to make sense and to strike a chord with the audience. ChunnuMunnu never did that. You are very good at writing humourous part........your dry wit comes out in the writings. The best comedy for me is when humour comes out of normal situations and peoples behaviour .....thats what I see when I read your Imarti, Dev and Kaam sections.........I saw that with Vaishali too.😃...........and the way you deal with Dev shows that you like him a lot.😃 I am glad that you are dealing with all the loose ends.👏👏

Thanks, Laxmis. The creatives probably wanted to save money and had no scenes between any characters except for Radhika running after Abhay trying to convince him about his identity along with Kanika and Katyani's silly schemes. The rest of characters were rendered mute or given useless dialogues. The second year of this show was a classic example of ruining one's product for no reason.
Dev confided in Vaishali at one time, but she ruined it when she slapped Dev for telling her the truth about Vishaka not being his DG. RP title has been the priority for Vaishali and that's why her attitude towards Radhika changed when she got brainwashed by Amma. As far as Vivek was concerned, he sort of got ignored because of Dev's charisma. But now Imarti is her favorite and is like a surrogate daughter for her. So, she will throw a fit when Vivek and Imarti don't get married. That's when there would be a confrontation between her and Dev on the past.

Dev and Radhika's discussion is the most important part because there had never been anything about their past since Dev confronted Radhika in Haridwar. Hopefully, everyone will like it.
