Chalhov, thanks. I only turned my spoof into FF because of non punishment of Katyani and Amma. Also, Dev did not punish Amma because he didn't know about the first burning, but here everything happened in front of him and numerous witnesses. So, it didn't make any sense that Dev would let go of Katyani.
Initially, I wanted Dev to send Katyani to jail, but to do it suddenly after two weeks didn't make sense. So, I decided to show that Dev was trying to bring down Katyani where it hurt most. Also, the cold blooded murder in that story did not gel at all. So, had to show punishment in the story.
As Misti said, Vibha was a blank canvass and she could be easily made a manipulator who was the smartest of them all. This would be Katyani's biggest punishment that she herself brought her successor in the house. Unlike Katyani, Vibha is the truly smart person who does not reveal her cards to anybody. She only did it to Dev because she genuinely liked him as he treated her with respect when nobody did. Also, she had to convince Dev in taking Rajjan's help who was only interested in gaining the power.
If they hadn't shown Abhay thinking of dumb things, the next part would be quite simple. But, now have to justify the stuff in Dev and Radhika's conversation.
After Dev and Radhika's vacation, I would focus on bringing out Amma's truth out to Dev.
