I do agree that they need to get away from the superstitions and need to show that Shantanu was never Vaishali's real son and her real son comes back, but is shown to be estranged from her and they should Vaishali making an effort to pacify him and get him reconciled to the family.

Yes thats what I too want to see.....I don't want to see any more superstitions propagated in this story.

My fear is that these creatives are just looking at TRPs and trying to raise them. So, they are going after one forumula or another. So, they didn't show the face of this new girl as they don't yet know the story themselves. I just hope that they keep the basic themes of the story intact - spiritual rather than ritual, eternal and unique love of Dev and Radhika where they are not interested in any one else even if others are interested in them, punishment for the sinners like Amma. But, I prefer to see Radhika working in an office and becoming confident enough to answer back rather than her listening to taunts of Amma all day. That phase should be finished. Also, Amma needs to be punished after Dev comes back and his memory returns.

Angie I think I wrote as reply to Chalhovs post in this thread that the creatives don't know how to take this story forward so they are sending out feelers via the different forms of media to get an idea as to what the audience would like to see...........they kept the girl beside Dev and kept on focussing on her sindoor because they wanted to see how the audience reacts to this idea that Dev might think that he is married to someone .............and I think they got the response that it is not a welcomed track and then this came out..............they are just checking peoples reaction....I also agree with your "spiritual rather than ritual, eternal and unique love of Dev and Radhika where they are not interested in any one else even if others are interested in them, punishment for the sinners like Amma" idea. As for Radhika this is a logical step in her developement.....first she was totally under amma...then with Devs love she got her confidence back...then with Devs support she started fighting back and now she is standing up for her faith and beliefs just by herself...........but this is all in thefamily. Her real test will come in the outside world........so she needs to go out there and stand on her own feet..............that will also be a nice slap on ammas face.

I just got a thought(guess) in my mind that Dev has transferred all his property in Rads name and also wanted to give Vish to get rid of her.Maybe he has some independent property which when the lawyer knows,he will come and give Rads.Till now only the mutt the PF and SF know of this tragedy that they have to leave PB in Ek vastra.That way Rads becomes an earning member and she has to look after that and her family.. Lets see what CVs do.

Since Radhika is not educated enough or have experience, they need to make it logical to show that she gets a job. So, she gets it two ways:

1. Misti's way of working in Purohit Trust. They could also make a slight change by showing that Radhika had a baby and hence is now in charge of the Purohit trust. Since Dev is not around, she and Vivek take care of it and hence her necessity to work in the office where Vivek helps her. Mrin can be the baby sitter and learns to take responsibility for house hold chores. She does them, but still grumbles. That can be entertaining. Now, when Dev returns and gets his memory back, he gets back his RP title. But, now Radhika wants to continue to work in the office as she feels that she doesn't want to be in a situation where they are again on the streets. Also, as Mrin has become more responsible, she can do a lot of work required by staying home DIL. In return, she is getting her choice of jewellery and clothes. So, now Dev and Radhika have differences because he wants her to give up her job, but she doesn't. Also, Dadi supports her whereas Vaishali can be her regular pendulum stuff - sometimes supporting Dev and once in a while supporting Radhika. Of course, Dev's taking over RP won't be smooth because of chachoo and Arjun.

2. Another way is that they can tie one loose end from last year. Make Daksh her father who only wanted to buy Shastri punyas so as to help him with the wedding expenses of Radhika's wedding. He abandoned her as a child maybe either because Radhika's mother was a lower caste woman or she was poor and he married a rich girl with whom he was miserable. So, now he has regrets and he is helping her behind the scenes. Since he knows that she may not accept him, he decides to help her without telling her this he is her father. So, he gives PF a home to live and asks Radhika to work in one of his offices in return (maybe related to temple work and needs a person who has religious knowledge). Eventually, Radhika can become in charge as she is talented, smart and a quick learner. Once Dev and Radhika unite and Dev wants her to quit the work, they can show Daksh disclosing the fact that he is Radhika's father and he was training her so that she could take over his business. So, there are conflicts about Radhika accepting her father as well as conflicts between Dev and Radhika about not devoting her full time to Mrs. RP duties.

But, no more religious punishments for Dev and Radhika and no showing off Dev living with another woman as a husband. The audience will not accept it as was evident from vishaka's ONS. They can show that the sindoor clad woman is a new "SIL".

They use the media to test the waters, see what forum opinions are and then go in an opposite direction! We are, just plainly speaking, eating out of their hands.

This story has gone south and these are desperate times and desperate measures! I am still looking for a graceful exit. Please Creatives, enough already!

So now they are putting Radhka who had no formal education in office environment?? What about educated Mrinalini??

Well I am not sure how logical this is going to be.. have to wait and watch..

Well at least good for Rubina.. She will be out of those heavy sarees and will be able to wear somthing lighter or is she going to wear her salvar suit again or will be in saree??

But the bottom line is if they do not bring RadhDev together what will be the theme of the story??

I did, but I can't except the situations be the same. 5 years too long for everyhing be the same. Of course they will get older. Otherwise their is no logic. They will need to act older. I love them how they are now, I want them tackle their problems now.

If this leap happens it would destroy everything. It is better then to end it now. Like Kahnaa said he can't keep them apart. And now it happenings. How much do Radhika and Dev need to suffer. In mine opinion 5 years is too long. You can't except Dev to be faithfull! I want them to reunite now not after 5 years. What is need for that if they can reunite now. I really don't understand this writers, of even thinking of a leap of 5 years. Ohh please don't let be true. How will this raise the trp. It will not I'm sure of that. It would mean the end of the show. Why can't they just tell a good story now and have average trps. And if the story is good it would raise.
