It seems that a leap in the show is a way of changing the story line when it becomes boring. It can be seen as a means of adding spice to the story too. And now after 'Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo', 'Raja Ki Ayegi Baraat', 'Kashi', and 'Devi' it's the turn of Zee TV's 'Chhoti Bahu' to take a leap. And following the tradition of other shows, this show is about to take a leap of a few years too.

A source informs, "Chhoti Bahu will take a leap of 5 years which will change the entire flavor of the show as the female protagonist will no more be seen in the same avatar. Radhika (Rubina Dilaik) will be the only earning person of the Rajpurohit family due to Dev's loss of memory and thus Radhika will be shown in typical office attire whereas Dev (Avinash Sachdev) will interact with the new family members entering the show."

"The Rajpurohit family will shift from Vrindavan to Agra as Radhika will see Dev in Agra and thus the family will take a decision to shift to Agra in search of Dev. The leap will not change any one, no one will die, no one will deliver a baby and no one will grow older but will just reflect a change of situation. The casting of the new family is on and the new family will be a total entertainment package." signs off the source.

We tried calling Rubina Dilaik and Avinash Sachdev but both of them remained unavailable for the comment.

Let's see how this leap helps the show raise its TRP's!

Hope thats true Niveditha thanks for the information dont know what to believe so many stories r coming about CB.

WOW!!!!! would be interesting to watch dev fall for radhika again......or how will they meet & react after 5yrs n after dev gets back his memory....DEV will be more naughty n more romantic....Just imagine wat wil he do aftr geting back his memory...... ☺️

AHHH ......now it makes sense.........new family complete entertainment package, then the cvs are hitting SGP....if this happens then I am all for it.........Radhika working in office attire....whopeeee................I am all for it creatives....Radhika being independent...........ahh my dreamworld.................and Agra that mean chachoo will still be around?......yippeeeeeee.........so if I get a strong Radhika and chachoo still around I am all for it..........so creatives if this article is to guess audience reaction then yes from me......although 5 years leap is bit unrealistc for me....but I will live with it if you show a strong Radhika.

Actually I remember in one of the interviews during Rubinas birthday last year the director and Rubina did say that she might get a bit older during this serial..........I did think about a leap happening.

Chalhove they are still undecided about the track and are sending out feelers to the audience to geta feedback and on the basis of tha they will make their choice.........they might have got the message that another lead for Dev is something that the audience will not like.

They keep realeasing some or other news that it is difficult to believe what they will show or not so I find it difficult to believe.😆

No I don't want this to happen. It would destroy everything so long apart. Especially Dev and Radhika band. Kahnaa would never allow this to happen. What are they thinking. Please don't do this. I don't want them to get older. 😭 I love them like this.

I knew that they would towards a 5 year leap or close to 5 year leap as that would make it a battle between Arjun and Dev about the RP title. Arjun would about to be an RP when Dev returns.

Interesting. Will be nice to see radhika in this new avtaar. Taking care of his family while he is absent. But they better show Dev too.

One thought came to my mind... I can understand dadi, vaishali, vivek not working. And birju taking care of them while radhika is at work. But what is mrinu going to do all day long??? 🤔
maybe she is taking radhika place and cooking for everyone.
