Misti, I have to agree with you. Chikna seemed such an interesting character when he showed his true colors to Radhika about him not having a wife and using Radhika photos to get Dev's sympathy and entrance to PB. Also, his interaction with Radhika was great as they had good chemistry, there was some sympathy on both sides with Shantanu having tinge of admiration for Radhika's character and they fighting to achieve opposing ends.

Now, with this attempted murder Shantanu's impact with Radhika has lost its impact. It is only left for Radhika to realize that Shantanu was behind Dev's murder and she gets justice for what he did to Dev. Actually by making Shantanu such a caricature, they have shortened his track. Just as Vishaka suddenly turned intolerable after ONS and Amma after the burning episode, nobody would like to see Shantanu as a long-term character with him getting away with things just as Vishaka and Amma had in the past.

Maybe the intent is to show that Dev will forgive Shantanu when he comes back and won't tell anybody about Shantanu's intentions just as Radhika did with Amma. So, it is another circle. Amma tries to kill Radhika, Radhika is saved because of Dev (his prayers etc.) and she keeps quiet. Now, Shantanu tried to kill Dev, Dev is saved because of Radhika (her prayers etc.) and he forgives Shantanu.

Now, that Shantanu has turned into a killer, I just hope that the remaining track is more logical without typical formulas of memory loss or inserting unnecessary characters. Would like to see vengeful Dev who gets rid of Shantanu by using his brains. Also, would like to see strong Radhika (there were some traces of that today) and even Shantanu having brains to be more of an intelligent villian rather than a psycopathic and obsessed villian.

well she has to keep upto Avis standard.....😃😛.........and she can do it.....we are like mother hens regarding her.......😆😆

Anyway, since Avi is not working for the next few days ... hope he heads over to Ruby's and gives her some voice lessons and helps her practice her dialogues 😍😉

Regarding future scenarios, I really hope he comes back in disguise (that would be clever if they could pull that off) ... they will complete more of their mini cycles but it would be fun to watch. Only thing is, I dont want them botch up the disguise job so badly that the audience can recognize him but not PB 😕 Also, they need to lighten the show up a lot if they want to compete effectively with SGP.

In order to compete with that serial they not only have to lighten up but they have to deal with emotions between different family members ,...........how they interact with each other and how it effects each others life....SGP is basically about that......high on interaction and emotions.They also have to make the story more realistic.

Thanks for doing this review. I am so used to your review that after i watch the episode I need to get a dose of your view on the episode. You really take pains to write the funny review.
In the real stuff, I may not agree to all your point, but then its ok.

There are so many who can tell the la-la points of the episode, so I am going to point the agggrr-aggggrrr 😡😡 moments:

1. Image of Dev's cut out of the image falling down with a different background. When they take so much pains to shoot the scene, with him sitting on the crane and going down ..why do they have to do this shoddy cut-n-paste job?!

2. Vaishali calls Vivek, Vivek's pathetic acting of crying and helplessness and Radhika ofeering to talk instead. She tells that they are looking for him. How come Vaishali doesn't ask, "what/why "looking"? What are you saying?". Radhika says "we will bring him with us" and Vaishali is "accha." Is that all? No concern?

3. Radhika wants to stay in the jungle until she finds her husband. In the morning scene, she goes running again to find her husband hysterically. What was she doing there entire night?

4. The search team were not shown taking any lights down, so did they search all through the nights? Or did someone arrange for a pertomax down there in anticipation of Dev's falling down?

5. How come the search team guy announces Dev is dead. Isn't this supposed to be done by the police head? Shouldn't the search team report their findings to the police and they inform to the family?

6. Radhika comes home in a dazed state and she goes and sits on the sofa by herself fine? Editors, are you sleeping on the job?

7. Chachu's such poor acting with tears. This actor is really good, but today he was bad. This time the Director must have been sleeping and said, "chachu ji, thoda glycerine-wlycerine lagalo aur kuch boldo, sab log Dev ke marne ke gham mein ro rahen honge, aapko kaun dekhega".

8. In the precap scene: Dadima, if you have heart attack, the pain is not at the chest, it is felt on the shoulder muscle, stop holding your heart.

Script wise there were 3 escape points for Radhika:
1. When she says, "...even I want to go down (the valley)". This was handled with Birju saying, "what if Dev comes looking for you here". Really funny. Do they have escalator from down the valley at other spot that Dev will come up from, who has fallen down?

2. When she says, "...I will not go home. I'll wait for him". Here again it was handled with Birju saying almost a similar excuse, "What if Dev has gone home". Funny again. Definitely there must have been a escaltor or an evelator from some other spot for Dev to come up and coolly walk home.

3. When she regains consciousness, she says, "he must be upstairs, let me go and check". Here again the CVs execused Rad from the scene to not show her turmoil. I am waiting to see what/how they are going to show it tomorrow.


Seriously even with all these flaws, todays episode was much much better execution wise than last whole week.

I cannot add more now bcoz I am still not out of the grief,,,but after reading ur post i am quite sure that i will be very soon oput of the sadness but wont lessen my anger for the cvs who still are not tired of copying old formulas,,,even the students are tired of copying in the exams but really the cvs are different ,,as u said ,,who would like to cook if u get Ur food ready made,,,even if the taste is bad

Thanks Shiny. I liked your comment regarding students being tired of copying...does this really happen? 😉....as for the cvs by all means get irritated with them but don't let it effect your daily life........they are not worth that much importance.

Bee, I LOL reading your assessment. I am surprised that you felt it was better executed than all of last week. I felt it was a continuation of last week's silliness. As you say, I don't think the Creatives leave themselves time to write dialogues for the leads, so forget the secondaries. They likely ask the secondary characters to ad lib their way through the scenes. What a waste of talented cast! No wonder put together it appears like a chop job. 😆😆😆
