TAM Ratings from May 9 to 15 CB Drops - Page 3

I don't mean to make comparisons and the mods may delete this if they wish, but I cannot help but point to PR. Yes, it is an Ekta show and thus automatically we can assume that the tracks will be outrageous and the leads will be kept apart, but one thing I really admire about PR is the fact that all the characters are properly utilized. There is not one character on that show who is background decoration. PR revolves around 4 families and somehow every member of each of those families has a significant role in the story. The way everyone and everything is interconnected is brilliant. In CB so many good characters are wasted and the wrong villains are given center stage. Chachoo, Mrin, Vivek, Deepika, and Arjun are being totally wasted. They do nothing but stand around and roll their eyes or give shocked looks. The Vishaka character is completely ruined and nobody wants to see her again even if she genuinely turns positive. Amma the lunatic is roaming around free when she should be exposed and locked up. Shastriji and Devaki characters are completely inconsistent. Purab is nowhere to be seen. Vikram came and went, then came again and finally ran off like a cartoon character (totally inconsistent with the image he portrayed when he was first brought on the show). Now we have two new villains (Shantanu and Creepy Nurse) whom the CVs have no clue what to do with. Unless there is a major overhaul in all technical departments of CB such as writing, editing, direction, etc., the show will continue to sink. ONS track was like the Titanic for CB, but the CVs have still not learned their lesson and are not fixing the damages done. Unless they start some major repair, the show will be doomed. It's really sad because the old episodes of CB were so beautifully done. Now I feel like I'm watching a totally different show!

totally agree with u sandeepa..thats what i meant too...
i dont watch PR like CB, but i love Varsha's character in PR from the begining, and she is not a main lead. the varsha's character is developed so well...
not only in PR but in other shows too there is some kind of improvement in side characters, that is what CB lacks i think.
sometimes i feel like the whole burden of CB is on Radev, for how long even these two can bring the show alone.
they started Vish story with Vik but see again they tangled her to Radev.....

I agree they shoud use the characters they have. They totally destroyed Vishaka character, going after Radhika for revenge, and then falling in love with Dev. It was beyond stupid. I'm really wondering how they are going to repair her character, and at the same time they made Radhika and Dev weak and stupid just to bring the negative. Stantanu is such a confusing character I think people can't relate with him. First he was after Radhika and then Dev! I think the biggest mistake is how they handle the first marriage truth, they finished the storyline so quick. So many truth still needed to come out. Especially how much Radhika has suffer, Devki and Amma pushing Radhika to get married. No one once ask Radhika why did you wear sindoor. Then Devki trying to break Dev and Radhika marriage. Dev forgiving Radhika in a minute without any real confrontation! Now everyone blame Radhika, and still do. But Amma and Devki didn't get punished at all. And now we are at the lost son story line so fast and he want revenge but why now.

I fell the first marriage truth coming out wasn't handled well at all. I mean this was the biggest secret in the show, and it all unfolded soo quickly now, after 1 and half year of wait. the audiences really didn;t have much to look forward to after that, except for endless manhants and punishments
and by the time shantanu's track came people were already tired.

and I totally agree with you guys, the show has to revolve around everyone, people do want a change sometimes. and here we just have RaDev facing problems from the beginning of the show.

this is sad.Choti Bahu trp should go higher.I hope CB goes high soon...
