I hope Dev nothing happens to Dev and Shantanu smirkness and grin is wiped off his face. I honestly cant take this character, always flaring his nostrils...😡

The song is used as a scare tactic. It was the same song played during Karva Chauth episode when Dev was missing for a while and the moon was about to come out. Dev came back in time then and he will now too.
