Vishaka interview in Vrindavan Times

Vishaka who is back in Purohit Bhavan gets into a frank conversation with Vrindavan Times.

After getting "married" which was followed by running away to Mumbai on national television, Vishaka Shastri is back doing what she is best at i.e. stealing other women's partners. She is the main force of "ammas dhamaka" team in Purohit Bhavan.

Vrindavan Times caught up with Vishaka for a 15 minutes for a no hold barred chit chat over tea regarding the recent up's and down in her hard and struggling life.

Why this entrance in Purohit Bhavan?
It is an excellent platform to demand for my rights and silence all those who say that Vishaka only does nautanki! My amma has filled me with immense talent, which I will unleash in the Purohit Bhavan. I have left a number of other big households to be a part of this. Stealing men belonging to other women is my passion and I have returned to it in PB on the idiot box after couple of months break. In between I did other stuff I Mumbai that none of you know about. But my heart was not there, as it just wanted to rock Purohit Bhavan.

What is your take on Radhika?
It is going to be a lot of fun. I really can't say who will win, but we will put our best feet forward. There may be certain weak links in my story but amma is there na.

You will have to meet Chachoo again?
Chachoo is a closed chapter. I am no longer interested in him. Somewhere down the line, he knows that what he did was wrong. He should not have gone for both Mrinalini and me at the same time just because we were the official bahus in Purohit Bhavan. All said and done, once I am in PB, I forget everything.

You have to also face Dev and Radhika. How are you going to do that?
I had nothing against them; my bone of contention was and is with Kanha who has acquiesced to Radhikas wishes to make them a couple. It is quite sad that Radhika has and will speak a lot against me, but she should realize that it is wrong to steal things from me. Stealing is an art that I have perfected since childhood and it is not right that she comes and takes credit for my hard earned work of art.

What is your take on Mrinalini and Arjun?
I think Mrinalini must now be ruing the moment she entered the PB, as the Purohit family will not allow her to openly steal other peoples husbands. She must have entered the family just for publicity, but she should have opted out of marriage. Personally I can't understand why a rich person like Mrinalini had to enter PB. My case is different.

But didn't Dev treat you well when you were with him last year?
Dev did not want to get married to me. I want to let you in on a secret; Dev actually liked Radhika. But then amma fired and fried her. Dev gets away with a lot only because he could speak English and I could not. I have forgiven Dev.

Any memories about your last years stay in PB?
Only negative. I had to run away loads of time, but I was projected as the wrong party in all those actions. What wrong have I done. I only tried to rape Dev once. That Kanha again spoilt it for me. Why is the world castigating me? Whats wrong in trying to use others stuff? Purohit family smartly tried to play on the masala element by making me dress in red and Dev in white. Radhika again started crying and Kanha came rushing to her rescue.

Any chances of going for more movies in Mumbai?
No I will not do films anymore. They just use me to expose and then tell me that I have to sleep with people who are actually my husbands in the movies. This is an insult. How can I sleep with my own husband in a movie when I have never done it in my life.
I wish to make an announcement that I will not expose anymore. My amma has told me to use my talent in better ways. Having said that I will still creates ripple by continuing to say my truth loudly. Did I not shut up Radhika yesterday in Purohit Bhavan? I showed the family what I am capable off.

So what will you do in place of films?
It is only drama in PB for me now. Besides creating drama, I will on the look out for other meatier families. I am also planning on opening a school for girls where I can teach them to steal others husbands.

Why did you want a one night stand with Dev?

Well you see although my love is not for sale, other parts of me are for sale and the offer was too hard to resist. Amma has always taught me that aim big.
