Angake, for me the episode was very cathartic!

That's exactly what I said maybe on Misti's thread that I was all teary eyed and felt so proud just like I feel when my kids overcome obstacles. 😆

As Angake has said she broke the cycle of abuse ........it takes lots of guts, will power and self belief to stand up to ones abuser and give that person a piece of your mind. ......She did her duty by touching ammas feet but did not wait for the blessing.......it was really a sublime scene........where were these creatives hiding in the past year and in the beginning of this year.

Mishti,
You do see a difference in the CB story right now and yes, its for a reason.
Since the Mumbai and Kshamavrat episodes old writers were gone and new writer were brought in. These new writers did the complete Ra Dev 2nd marriage episodes and then a new team was brought in called the "Story Ideation" and looks like the DJs themselves weren't satisfied with their "Seinfield" kind of episodes and pulled up their socks and started writing episodes with much better planning. Though these were the times when Thakshak Raj gufa (*I think so*) and Goa episodes were created, I think they had to do some sort of damage control and get rid of the old storyline and have started giving a new story which are weaved better and we see this difference.
I too am enjoying each and every episode since the last Goa episode. Hope they continue like this.👏👏
👏 But I def would prefer the very 1st CB story writer.

When one has a head on confrontation witha person whom you know dislikes you, it is very important to remain calm, be decisive and focussed on what you want to say. Radhika has all these inherent qualities she did not have to assert herself by raising her voice but being very stern was more than enough to put amma in her place. Hats of you radhika.
amma has once again proved to me that for her ""not that i Love Vishaka but I hate Radhika more" is the mantra.
I have no further words to explain how I am really happy for Radhika today.

I absolutely loved the last part ... I was being very petty and hoping that amma would trip and the oil would land on her face and people would realize what she had done ... but this was so much better

It was like a balm to watch Rads give back to Amma ... we all knew Rads had it in her. She needed to be pushed to the extreme ... and she feels like she has lost the Dev that was happy and carefree ... so this has awakened the tigress in her and she is ready to fight

Btw ... what is Mrin doing perpetually positioned outside Radev's room?

Rajsri,
This was an episode to remember for Radhika. She has taken on Amma but in her own gentle yet firm way. She was respectful but not cowered by Amma. Whatever her opinion of Vishakha may be, she protected Vishakha as well as stood up ifor the injustice Amma has hurled at her all her life. The only way she could do it was that she is very sure of Dev's love and love conquers all! I was so excited by what the Creatives showed today. Kudos to them.

That was necessary for Rads to let Amma know that she is aware of her setting Rads on fire, but now enough is enough and she will speak up!👏
I hope they keep showing positive changes in Rads and not go backwards!

Yes, RadheK, Radhika very firmly let Amma know that you made my life miserable in the past but I will not allow you to do that any more!
She had shielded Amma from the police in the aftermath of the fire but today she let Amma know she knows it was Amma and that stopped Amma in her track!
Yay, Radhika! Clap

Rajsri, even though I have semi-private corner office, my area is like the Grand Central Station most days and I end up sneaking in the episode at lunch time. Streaming causes serious server problems at lunch time too so I limit my viewing in general. After reading deefan's update and the forum, I could not help myself. I was cheering for Radhika. I have yet to watch and will before I go to bed and savor it!

Yes, Gardes,
When I heard that dialogue from Radhika - "It always mine!!" in a invincible manner, I went "Wow"!!! My brained paused for a moment and then I realised, yes, isn't this Radhika that I want, yes exactly, what I want.
The next dialogue was about her strength coming from her husband's love. Me again going "Yes!" in my mind.
Then I went on to watch Radhika touching Amma's feet.
Radhika did no wrong, way to go girl!! Way to go!

Bee, this is a record - 2 days in a row you and I agree!
I too enjoyed Radhika's metamorphosis from a vulnerable larva to a free-flying butterfly! She let go of all her baggage where Amma was concerned and faced her fears head-on and on her own with Dev and PF's love and support fully behind her! The words that this was always mine were so appropriate for that moment. Watching Amma, you feel pity that this woman has so much hatred in her that makes her so ugly and so down in the gutter and Radhika is so full of love and life and look how far she made it!
You go girl is so right for Radhika today!

You are so right, Sun. The 5 minute clip of the show made up for the last few months of CB with those terrible tracks. I hope to see Rad do a whole lot more from here on for Dev and walking in step with Dev. Amma to me became history or the past of CB today. I have called her has-been lately, but today she became a nothing!
Wow, all at the hands of Rads too!

Angake, I know exactly what you mean. Since the day I started watching, and over the last few months going back to watch the old episodes, I was drawn even more to this story. I tend to cheer for the underdog in general and Radhika's character just settled too close to my heart. I was torn apart by the fire track and then when Amma was shown trying to pour hot water again, I just lost it. Today, I felt elated over the 5 mins of the Radhika-Amma exchange. A few choice words reduced Amma to a nobody! She has lost hold over Radhika for a while now (she tried mischief on the night Rads went to see Vik and Amma failed to rouse Dev's ire) and today Radhika did her in!
