I just saw the new promo by promoking.
I must congratulate the cratives for this move. (forum members do not hit or hate me for this)
This is the last string that Radhika has to pull before taking the plunge.
She has been denied Dev's love (who by the way is her life and husband). Only 3 people know this truth that Radhika and not Vishakha is married to Dev, apart from Radhika and Nandu.
Amma, Devki and Vishakha.
She has been in this position twice already.
Once immediatly after the wedding. She was dreaming of a life with him when her mangalsutra was stripped and snatched away. This was done by Amma.
Second time at phool bangla- when Devki after knowing the truth promises her , her rights. Radhika was happy to get her rights and also speaks out thinking that Dev is listening. But Devki has her famous pendulum swings and she symbolically strips off the second magalsutra (kanha locket) that Dev put on her. This was done by Devki.
Radhika has made herslef a stone in front of Dev. She knows that she is hurting him. She acknowledges this in front of kanha. Even in the scene in mandir where she wishes Vishakha to return, she says 'main agar unse milti rahi to main unki oor khichi chli jaoongi. Mera dil baar baar unko pukarta hai. Laut auo Vishkaha, laut auo.'
This tells us that she just puts a pretense of being rude to Dev or just ignores him so that she is not drawn to him. Because she knows that this time she may not be able to let go of her love, her husband, her DEV.
Now again she is in the same position where she has been asked to accept DEV.
This time every body wants her to get married to Dev. Her babuji, ma, Dev's mom, and g'ma. Even amma is not allowed to speak up, Susheel is put in place and Mrinalini is ignored.
Vivek has also accepted this proposal. Only one person can object to this union and that is Vishakha.
She is scared that may be this time Vishakha will symbolically strip off her mangalsutra again. (Which will be the third time.)
And this time she is not the only one who will stand to loose. In the first two cases Dev did not know the truth of her being his wife.
But this time every body wants to get Dev and Radhika married. What is more important is that this time it will be her DEV who equally stands to loose, if Vishakha returns.
She knows that Dev loves her more than himself. She knows the pain of the loss of the person whom u love. And she knows the day Vishakha will return, Dev will have to endure this pain.
She does not want this for him. She knows that he has already suffered a lot.
This is the reason that Radhika wants to go to Mumbai to convince Vishakha or atleast tell her that every body in the family wants her to get married to Dev.
So that Vishakha knows what is happening, so that she is the one who has to decide whether to pursue her carrier in entertainment or become the CB of the Purohit family.
If Vishakha chooses the entertainment world, then, she in other words is agreeing to the Dev - Radhika wedding.
Radhika will have to try this last gimmick and has to fail to get a clousure for herself(as some one on the forum had pointed out).
We all know that Vish wont be convinced and the much awaited RaDev wedding no. 2 will take place.
And this time when Vish does return, it will be a strong Radhika that she will have to face, who is not willing to relinquish her rights as the CB of the Purohit family (again), not ready to give up her right as Dev's wife (again).
Then we will see the extent of love Radhika has for Dev and now with the support of her husband DEV, her babuji, MIL- Vaishalli, Dev's g'ma and most probably even Devki (this will be interesting to see what stand Devki takes. Will she still support Radhika or will she have her famous pendulum swings)
