and It may happen that without knowing past history, Shastri-g will marry his second daughter(Radhika) to Dev (in compensation, as Vishakha has developed running habit.)

Hahaha😃, That would be a pleasant surprise for both Dev and us the viewers. Again, I also have small 'but' here, how far that is legal?. How far it can be acceptable to Radhika and Purohit family?.

Though that would be a nice twist for the viewers, I would still love to wait for the straight forward way of dealing with the lies and Vishaka's running away problem (to unfold the wedding truth)

Coming to Radhika - I know she is an unsophisticated gal from a small town and know nothing beyond loving her adopted family. That is what attracted me to this character in the beginning and that is what is making me feel frustrated about her now. I hope it will not be too late for her (when she is 'given a chance') to pay back Dev for each and every agony he had to go thru because of her lies to him. after all Dev is also a human being, he can also take only so much and I feel he is reaching that limit of taking denial from Radhika.

Thanks a bunch for keeping me busy and making me think over this topic.

What is Dev's fault in all this? He's suffering because of Radhika...because Radhika very well knew that Dev sent the proposal for her and not Vishakha..all she had to do was come in front of him , he wud have understood himself tht she is not Vishakha....my point is that she loved him or not, she had no right to play with Dev's emotions...His whole life was ruined because of this one lie..the truth is she wanted Vishakha to marry Dev (knowing that Vishakha too is not interested and is being forced for the wedding..tht gives her another reason to tell the truth to Dev) because shastri family was too happy about this proposal....and Radhika, neither she told Dev or her family ..

In one of my earlier posts I was asking their first meeting was the best moment of their life or worst? If they don't unite than it definitely is worst. But then they say that falling in love itself is a boon and even the pain from the love is lovable.

Yes, I do agree with you that in her first few meeting she started liking Dev but she was unsure that why these feelings bothering her.remember she said(' Kyon Uss Ajnabi Ka Chera Mayri Ankhon Kai Samnay Baar Baar Aaa Jata Hai').At that time she was untouched by the love and she had an ambivalence feeling.

why she hid behind Vishakha?
Radhika was leading an austere life in a small town(Vrindavan) where limits and social boundation persists, specially for girls.
When Dev was inquiring about her, she hid behind Vishakha because she wanted to rid of embarrassment.
If a stranger(most specially a young boy) inquires about a girl then certainly it would be an embarrassing moment, specially for an introvert girl like Radhika.
So It was not her fault.

why she didn't clear up the matter?
She was in the impression that Dev really want to marry Vishakha and this wrong interpretation ceased in her wedding.
She was not cognizant of his intension.
For the first time She came up with the name 'Dev Rajprohit' when she delivered the letter but before this particular incident, proposal had already been arrived for Vishakha on Dev's behalf , It was quite disheartening for Radhika and thats why she ran away without listening a word.

I didn't read that post, sorry for that but I would like to answer it, now .
Pure love is necterine(Sweet as Nectar) in taste and brings sweet sensation So how it could be the worst moment for them.It was the bliss.

She didn't know that the proposal had come for her and not for Vishakha, remember, she said ('Lakin unki
Ankhon Main Mujeh Apnay Liye .....(and stops abruptly as a forbidden idea and continues) Nahi-2 Aisa Nuhi Hou Sukta, Agar Aisa Hota Tou Unka Rishta Vishakha Kai Liye Kyon Aata, Shayad Mujeh Hi Samajhnay Main Koi Bhull Hou Guyi Hai! ) and at the end of this session she said ('Mujeh Maa Ko Jaa Kur Sab Butana Hoga').She was loyal to her feelings and wanted to remove this confusion, so how can you say that it was Radhika's fault.

Obligation plays an important role, she is not a rebellion by her nature and can not forget indebtednesses at least not for her sake.She is a girl having lots of limitation and in debt over her head and thats the reason she couldn't come in front but Why dev not admitting to Vishakha that he never ever wanted to marry her.He is not under pressure he is not in anyones debt, can you please answer me.

Dev doesn't have a wife, Vish is not there as his wife. Dev doesn't think of anybody else but Radhika.

3.Dev can discuss his sorrow with Dadi, Mom, Bahiya, Birju / Radhika has no one.

Dev can't discuss his real sorrow with anyone as he has to hide his love. Sharing with the above mentioned people isn't helping him.

4.Its not a big deal if Dev forgets Radhika but Radhika can't forget him as she know what relation she is having with him.

The Biggest deal with Dev is he can't forget Radhika. Radhika is easily forgetting Dev for Vishaka.

Sorry for the confusion but my question was

Why Dev not admitting to Vishakha that he never ever wanted to marry her.He is not under pressure he is not in anyones debt then why he is not clearing the air.

If there is nothing wrong with constant lying.....................then indeed Radhika is innocent.......................great...........Mother India!!!!

Alright, on positive note...............................even if lying is covered up with sacrificing attitude.................................is hiding the truth conveniently............acceptable ?

She is weak and vulnerable to the point of an orphan and being used by amma ......not to stand for truth!

Simultaneously she is strong as iron when it comes to ruin her life, love, marriage and leave the house that she thinks she is obliged to and owes everything to her so-called family ....................to stand for fake marriage and its prestige!!!

She is extremely pious to the extent that she can lie ...................not to one but all.............. except wicked mother and grandmother!

She trusts in God so much that she can convince Him to make up for all betrayal she is doing to herself, father and Dev!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Above all, Radhika is great...............................a person who thinks for good for all............in the name of selfish sacrificing!

Oh!is she Selfish?.........so what if she doesn't think for anyone except "meri behen , mera parivar"..................she never says.............." mera pati, mere pita....."
