No he wont die , he wld defi feel dejected. He wld rebuke Vishaka and Devki+ Amma but since Vishaka has already been accepted as a CB, he will rethink as to what to do? His principles have already been tested when he allowed Radhika to do all chores and be tortured by Amma. I dont find him any less evil than Amma.

Devkiji has already told him about the deception. So Shastriji knows the "situation". What he does not know is that the women in his family are the perpetrators. So the "blow" has been softened. He will be very angry but he will be around.

[I like this technique they are using. They did the same thing with Dev. On his wedding night, Dev saw the mannequin first and later when he saw Vishakha, he was able to absorb the shock in a more controlled manner. He did not go ballistic.]

But I am wondering - will the deception be made public? I hope it is not. On the wedding day, when the bride was missing, what they did was the best solution. Yes, Radhika the protagonist, is the victim. But the deception saved both, the Shastris and the Purohits from public humiliation.

Samaj has always played an important role in Indian entertainment. And if the deception is revealed, I would prefer that only Dadima, Purohitji, Vaishali and Dev (of course) know about it. I do not want Mrinalini and Uncle Sushil to know (wishful thinking, I know).

The best solution (given how the story has developed so far) is if Vishakha decides to leave Purohit mansion on her own. Dev gives her the money and she leaves. That way Shastriji will not have to choose between Vishakha and Radhika. He is Vishakha's father. So it is natural if his actions favor Vishakha. But he is sympathetic towards Radhika. And if he is unfair to her then the viewers will be upset. So I hope Vishakha solves the problem for her Dad (and Dev) by leaving for Bollywood.

P.S. If Shastriji's role comes to an end, then who will run the family? Radhika !!! But what will she do? The audience does not know if Radhika has any formal education. So where will she work? I remember Purohitji mention something about a dharmashala and Dev is supposed to run that. Maybe Radhika will work there and they will meet occasionally ?!!
