When he had to choose between his love & responsiblity he didn't forget his responsibilities. He put behind his pain & sorrow & took up the responsiblities of a RP. He wanted to leave Vishakha & accept Radhika but as a RP he couldn't do it.

After the Barkha fiasco Radhika goes to mansarams house and Dev cannot come to Rawal soon enough as he is busy with math work and even ignored Radhika's phone call
Then when he did come his Radhika to roothi hui thi no matter how much Dev did Manson shanao she did not listen at night when they were going to sleep Radhika put up a curtain of chumming between their beds and Dev started talking to stars ----see stars you can look at my chand (Radhika) but I cannot I am jealous of u guys

When Radhika makes kheer for her first rasoi Dev was upset since he didn't want her to do any work & after that she leaves for her pagphere. He doesn't talk to her & goes to his room & complains cutely to her photograph that he didn't even try to pacify him after knowing that he was rootha hua from him.Next - Determined Radhika

Even after knowing that Radhika was a village girl, doesn't know English & was an orphan he fell in love with her innocence & was ready to accept her as his wife.infact he made the villagers understand that there was nothing wrong in her & gave her the rights of entering the temple & taking the aarthi.

After balraam was found innocent of stealing the money from the mathh Radhika is back in the probit house a din her room after finding out from Daima that Radhika went to bed without eating he tells Daima I will go and check when Dev goes to Radhika s room he sees her sleeping without any covers on her and the window is open he closes the window and covers Radhika with 2 blankets and sits next to Radhika s bedside watching her

Best part loved Barkha feeling jealous of Radev

After coming to know about Dev & Radhika child marraige dadaji gets an attack & even in his death bed he didn't spare Radhika from making her promise to save his so called RPti & makes Radhika sacrifice her love & marraige for his selfish pride & manipulates her into giving away her sindoor & her rights to Barkha.
