Misti, I am glad that you are writing something and Ushasri asked for it. I was planning to ask you to write up something on Dev finding Chaya and then seeing both reactions. In CB1, I always wanted to see Amma exposed and getting a punishment fitting her crimes. It didn't happen. In CB2, I wanted Chaya to come back and reunite with Dev and it didn't happen. So it would be good to see it at least in writing.

What beautiful poetry, Misti. You described with so much emotion this mother's wait, thoughts of agrieving mother who is waiting still child taken from her chest, still in the bud. She lives with her ??thoughts, the anyone known, felt acutely the longing who killed her body. She throbs in each figure found in the way, who would she want to imagened the gesture of her husband, about unforgettable memories, transmitted to her boy, unseen in maturity. How sad life, must have had Chaya. What a pity it was not even a time sequence, after Dev discovered the truth about his mother. I strongly believe that Avinash had played with great art, because it is master of displaying sadness silent. Thanks, Misti!

Thanks Cris. Usually birth mothers whose children have been adopted do wait for their children to find them. I have always imagined Chaya as someone who is waiting. To me she is the most tragic figure in CB2, someone who never got any justice. It is a pity that they did not show Dev and Chaya interaction...Avinash would have done a very good job byt again they were really not interested in Dev so why will they show Chaya.

Angie in my head I have planned a series on Chaya. So their conversation is there...but since it is going to be a poem I don't know what exactly my next one is going to be.

Misti beautiful work. I had tears in my eyes. The last para of the first poem touched me so deeply. I read in one of your post that you felt Chaaya was one of the most tragic characters in CB. So true. I totally feel that way too. And that would have been such a wonderful track, Chaaya and Dev. I have always loved the way Avinash has portrayed Dev in pain and anguish. Avi would have totally done justice to such a track.

You know your poems brought back a scene in CB1 that used to be one of my favorite scenes just for the poignancy it depicted of a motherless girl desperately wanting a mother's love. I think it was right after Devki catches Radhika and Dev in the kund where Radhika drowns and Dev saves her. Devki then totally ignores Radhika when she gets home. Radhika pleads Devki asking her the reason why she is ignoring her. My goodness that was such a heart wrenchingly beautiful scene. I am not sure why I associated this particular scene with your poems. But something about love denied between a parent and child gets to me. Thanks Misti for the beautiful poems.

Thanks Seema for the appreciation. Seema my problem regarding writing is that when I write emotional stuff it comes out in poetry and when I write humour/satire it comes out in prose. Dada's part is also there in my mind...maybe it will be a poetry or maybe it might be short scene.
As for daima I was also never comfortable with her around mainly because of memories related to amma. In the first episode when they showed her and kid Dev sitting on the river bank, I was biting my nails becuase I was expecting her to push kid Dev in the river. Then when kid Dev and kid Rdahika were dancing on the podium, I thought that she might set th stage on fire. I could never accept her in this show becuase I did not get closure regarding her awful crimes in CB1.
Your update was good, maybe you can write again when Avinash and Rubina start their new show/shows.
