Radev_fan, thanks. This song had a dreamy quality and CB2 had perfect scenes for this song. Some of early episodes of CB2 were very good.

This VM was posted in Heena's "VM Contest" thread. I am reposting it here because I accidently deleted it.

This VM is based on the song "Aashiyaan" from the movie "Barfi". This VM is titled "Abode of the Beloved". Abode means home and here the song talks about building a home where there is happiness and laughter. I have taken this title as a translation of one of Kabir's poem where the first two lines are as follows:

That abode is unmatched,

Where my true beloved is.

The poem is about spirituality, but I have used it in a different context here. I used the kidnapping track from CB2 for this track. That is where Dev was the most carefree and happy with Radhika. The lines of the song also match the ambience of their environment as they are happy in their world. They did not have material things and did not even own the place where they lived. But they were happy as they were with each other and away from Dev's suffocating relatives.

Following is the VM "Abode of the Beloved"

This VM is based on the song "Yeh lamha filhaal jeene de" from the movie "Filhaal". This VM is titled "Living in the Moment". This is from Radhika's perspective and uses the scenes from CB2 when Radhika came as Rohan's fake wife so that she could live close to Dev. I have used Gautam Buddha's following teaching as an inspiration for this title.

"Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment."

Dev is rude and obnoxious towards Radhika, but she is happy with small moments that she shares with him. This song represents Radhika's character as she was the one who could enjoy the present even if future seemed bleak. So she could ignore big problems in her life and was able to find happiness in small moments and eventually helped Dev in finding peace and happiness in his life.

Hi Friends,

This is my last VM on Choti Bahu. I made my first VM on May 18th, 2012 - the last day of CB2 because I was so disappointed with the ending. Then I got into them and ended up making so many. A year ago, I never thought that I would end up making over 75 VMs. Then I decided that I would finish VMs either on anniversary of my first VM or if this thread reaches 150 (then it is closed). Well, the thread didn't reach 150, so I decided to post my last one today few weeks ago. But I was lazy in making one as I wanted to post it only on 18th. Well, I finally managed to finish it today because of my pre-decided deadline.

It is fitting that I post the last one just before Ruby's show is going to start and soon Avi's new show will start too. So it is a right time to say goodbye to this phase too.

I had heard this song "Tum hi ho" from the movie aashiqui and had thought that lyrics suit Dev of CB2 perfectly. Also I wanted to make my last VM on CB2 because I was more attached to Dev/Radhika of CB2.

My first VM started with Radhika as she was my favorite character. The song was "Naino mein badri chaye" from the movie "mera saaya" and the first scene was that fit Radhika's characterization - the girl who intensely loved Dev and who was the only one to give him peace and comfort. So it was fitting that the last VM should end with Dev where Dev is telling her that she is the only one for him and she gives him peace and everything.

So my last VM (78th) is picturized on Dev where the scenes are not romantic in a physical way, but are more romantic to me as they showed Dev at his best. This is how I saw Dev in CB2 regardless of what they did to him during the Barkha track. So this to me fits Dev. Majority of scenes have been used in my other VM. Hope you like this interpretation where Dev has become emotionally mature to choose Radhika over the others - both his dysfunctional family and his Dada's version of dharam, and here he is standing by her and giving her comfort. The last scene is where both are at peace with each other and are able to be in their own world.

This VM is based on the song "Tum hi ho" from the movie aashiqui and is titled "You are the One for Me".
