Friends, this is my 50th VM. I have made it on the song "pal pal dil ke paas" from the movie "Blackmail". I had started making it few weeks ago, but got bored with it. So I quit making this one. Since I downloaded several episodes for my previous VM, I started to work on it again and was able to make it quickly as I had scenes from the courtship track that I could use for this song.

I have titled it "Heart's Desire". The title is from the famous drama "The Land of Heart's Desire" by William Butler Yeats. I have quoted part of his poem he used in his writing. I am quoting few lines of the poem that can be applied for Dev. Radhika was both his fantasy and heart's desire.

Land of Heart's Desire,
Where beauty has no ebb, decay no flood,
But joy is wisdom, time an endless song
I kiss you and the world begins to fade

Edit: I have no idea why youtube keeps on blocking this video despite it being unlisted. It seems that the song has copyrights and the opening sequence of the VM is also copyrighted.

Angie first of all congratulations for making 50 VMs...👏

Now coming to your VM...loved it. This one had two of my fav scenes...the one in the beginning to me is the most passionate scene in CB1...Radhika coy, bashful but loving all the attention from Dev...and the boy in full force ...all action, smouldering and also mischievous. This to me was even more passionate scene than their KL suhag raat scene where I was praying that Shantanu does not pop out from either the cupboard or from under the bed during their SR like a Jack n the box. The last scene where Dev is imaging Radhka putting uptan on him was very funny... specially when he puts the uptan on that man dreaming that the man is Radhika.

Cristina, thanks. I am glad that you like the VM. Yes, these were very beautiful scenes. I liked how these scenes were shown where Dev was happy that he finally was free to be openly engaged to Radhika. Also he knew how Radhika had been treated in Shastri household. So to me this song was the one where he gave her confidence by showing her that he had rights over her and giving her unconditional love. In the end, she came to the point where she could exert her rights over him. They showed that briefly during Dev's guilt track where she fought for him. Unfortunately, they spoiled the show shortly afterwards.

Cristina, Neerja: I have no idea why this VM is being blocked by youtube. I have tried all options where it is unlisted and there is no desire to make any money or whatever youtube requires. But this is the only video which they keep on blocking. The reason given is that the song has copyright claims as well as that first sequence (Haldi scene) is copyrighted. After three or four times trying to upload it, I gave up.

So I have loaded it on vimeo and hope all viewers can access it.

Thanks, Neerja. I like voice of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and I liked the lyrics of this song. This song suited Radhika of Abhay track or Radhika of CB2 when Dev betrayed her. Unfortunately there were not enough scenes in either CB1 or CB2 where that hurt was shown in any proper way.. Still there were more scenes in CB1 and hence made it on that.

Neerja, thanks. I really appreciate your words. As far as you using old songs, it is good that you are making on ones you like. Everyone has a different style and vision and one should follow their own style. And it does not matter if the entire scene does not match the song perfectly. It is your creativity and that is all that matters. I have made VMs many times that haven't worked out the way I initially imagined them to me. But I posted them anyway since I worked on them.

Thanks Hari. Not sure about the century. Few VMs ago, I was getting saturated and last few VMs have taken a longer time to make. So I had decided that 50th VM was going to be my last active VM. Somehow CB1 doesn't inspire me the way CB2 used to do even though I liked the first year of CB1 and some episodes from second year.

I will be making few more. But it will not be an active process as it was in last four months. I had more free time in last few months, but now I am getting busy. So won't be able to spend the time I was able to give before to making VMs. Also, the enthusiasm and inspiration has waned somewhat.

Myra, thanks. I am amazed that it reached 100 pages. Have to give credit to creatives of CB2 (zee, writing/editing team and PH) who gave us such great episodes and a great ending in last few months of CB2. They outraged me enough on the last day for me to try to make a VM to get over the time I wasted in that last month watching CB2.

But on a serious note, I enjoyed all discussions in this thread, Misti's thread and few other threads where I participated. A lot of my VMs are based on the interpretation of characters from discussion in Misti's threads.
