Myra, this VM is for you. Hope you have fun watching it.

Misti: You chose the perfect song for the first part of Bholu, Phullu and Rohan relationship. I was skeptical about this song even when I started making it as I wasn't sure that it fit Rohan fully. I had couple of episodes in mind, but once I started editing them, I realized that this was the best song for their situation and suddenly all the other scenes came immediately. Rohan's, Bholu's and Phullu's expressions are priceless. Such a great chemistry between these three characters. So again it was so much fun to make this VM. So thank you for recommending this song.

This VM is based on the song "Dilbara, Dilbara" from the movie "Dhoom (I)". I have titled it "The Princess and the Lap Dog". This is a spoof on the story "The Princess and the Frog". In the story, princess kisses the frog and he becomes the prince. But, Princess Phullu is not at all interested in either a frog or a lap dog as she already has got her Prince Bholu.

By definition, the lap dog is a small cute dog that can be cuddled in a lap. Now Myra would go for that definition for Rohan. But in human terms, it also means " a person who attaches himself to someone either in admiration or infatuation."

Here Rohan is the lap dog who tries his best to appear cuddly to Princess Phullu. But she considers him a pest and tries to shoo him away. The more she tries to ignore him, the more he comes after her. This infuriates her real Prince Bholu who is getting increasingly irritated with Rohan's shenanigans, but is not doing much at this time except sulking or glaring at Rohan and sometimes at Phullu. Phullu ignores Rohan but as usual is concerned about Bholu's reactions. So towards the end, she takes matter into her hand as usual (to spare Bholu) and tries to deal with Rohan in her own calm, diplomatic way. But does it work????

Myra/Misti, hope you like this interpretation.

Why3 I absolutely enjoyed the Vm on Jalebi Bai 😆
Dev and Ruby's chemistry was awesome😉 The song suited the scenes perfectly .I always hoped that Ruby would mockingly show Dev his mistakes towards Radhika and make him repent for it. She was the only character that I wanted to see pin point Dev his mistakes and make him realize what damage he has done by not trusting Radhika .
Thanks for the Vm it was great😊 ..Will come by to see more

Friends, my next VM is actually based on Dev and Radhika of CB1. This is one of the songs I really like, but it was fitting Dev/Radhika of CB1 instead. It uses Hemant Kumar's beautiful song "Yeh raat yeh chandni phir kahan" from the movie "Jaal".

Neerja, first of all thanks for downloading some of CB1 episodes. A lot of episodes from 2009 are not available anymore online. So I just relied on your videos for my VM.

I did want one more episode but couldn't find it. But the scenes between Dev and Radhika in CB1 used to be so long and full of emotions that I could make this VM in a very short time.

I have titled this VM "A Lover's Call". It is based on a poem by Khalil Gibran. The words fit characters of Dev and Radhika. I have not included the full poem, but have just included verses that fit Radhika the most. Radhika in CB1 was so bound by her needless obligations that she had hard time breaking free of them. Dev of CB1 was very patient and had unconditional love for Radhika. She did sacrifice him and their relationship to pay her debts to that selfish family. So the highlighted lines reflect Dev's hurt the most.

A Lover's Call (Khalil Gibran)

Or are you in your chamber where the shrine of
Virtue has been placed in your honor, and upon
Which you offer my heart and soul as sacrifice?

Oh companion of my soul, where are you? Are you
Praying in the temple? Or calling Nature in the
Field, haven of your dreams?

Do you have memory of the day we met, when the halo of
You spirit surrounded us, and the Angels of Love
Floated about, singing the praise of the soul's deed?

Remember you the trails and forest we walked, with hands
Joined, and our heads leaning against each other, as if
We were hiding ourselves within ourselves?

Where are you now, my other self? Are you awake in
The silence of the night? Let the clean breeze convey
To you my heart's every beat and affection.

Where are you, my beloved? Do you hear my weeping
From beyond the ocean? Do you understand my need?
Do you know the greatness of my patience?

In this VM, he is trying to make her understand that the life is too short and precious to be wasted on needless sacrifices and that the time wasted would only result in regrets later on. She is tempted, but is still hesitating. In the beginning, she is seeking him when she thinks he has left her. Then she goes back into her shell when he comes back for her. But in the end, there is some thaw and there is hope that she would finally break free of her obligations.

Angie , you are picking gems from bygone era songs ...this was beautiful song from Jaal and depicted the emotions of Dev ...In CB1 every episode has more of their scenes , i have to edit the other people from the episode even then there was enough space ...I loved your poem , it echoed Dev ,s expressions ...this poem touched you , specially the last lines and then your song , that also went with your poem .Angie your poem was very moving , it really echoed Dev,s voice ...

Rajsri/Misti: Hope you like this VM as it shows Dev's raw emotions. I have used couple of parts from the first part of this VM in my other VMs. But here I have used almost entirely the whole scene. There was another scene that I wanted to use. It was after Radhika returns Dev's ring and he is sitting in his room like a statue. It was a 3 minute sequence but I got about 20 seconds of Dev's scenes because each frame had another character. But I wanted to use this scene because Avinash had done a really good job in this scene. Wish they had kept camera on him for a longer time.

This VM is titled "Dev's Grief" and is based on Talat Mahmood's song "Sham-e-gam ki kasam" from the movie "Footpath". "Sham-e-gam" means an evening of grief.
