Hi Angie good post. I need time to write this so I will write a bit later but the time that Rdahika and Dev spent on the run was definitely for me one of the best presented tracks in this show.

Yes, I liked the introduction scene of Dev and Radhika. Also it was a sweet scene where Dev started was so charmed by Radhika and flirted with her all the way to Rawal. Radhika too was not a wallflower and was answering him back in her own way. She had realized that he was flirting with her but was enjoying herself.

The adult wedding was not my favorite the way it was shown in haphazard way with everything taken from CB1. But the innocent childhood wedding of Dev and Radhika remains one of my favorite episodes.

The kidnapping track was the best as everything was very consistent. Also that was the track where Dev and Radhika were there as true soulmate couple. The side characters of Rohan, Padma, Dada, BB, Virat and Mohini were also very consistent. Everything was good in that track.

Bharadwaj track was another good track where it had a lot of potential as characters were very interesting and actors playing them had charisma and were quite competent. Too bad that it was neither promoted well nor executed properly because of the way Barkha track was completed and also because of CVs love for short-term ratings.

But agree with you that Dev was intelligent in both tracks and was also given prominence.

I think your view of Barkha track is widely shared. That's why there is no mention of Barkha in my original post. Wanted to write only positive things about CB2 and that meant skipping one particular character and the track where that character dominated the show.

Yes. Avinash and Rubina are the main reason that this show has managed to reach over 300 episodes. These two have given a life to these characters of Dev and Radhika. I have to give special credit to Avinash as his character of Dev was neglected so much. Yet in so many episodes, he used his expressions to convey the thoughts of Dev.

Neerja, I agree with all the scenes you have described. Even though I had problems with pre-Barkha tracks in many places, but I can watch many of those episodes again. But have not managed to watch many episodes of Barkha track even once. I agree that the essence of the show was lost after July of last year.

But there were several episodes before August of last year that were very beautiful.

I have always felt that CB2 had more potential and Dev here is much more complex. Also there are lot of grey negative characters compared to CB1. So there was more scope here. But unfortunately Dev's potential has not been used.

They could have used Barkha properly and making her negative was not an issue for me. But I had problems with how she was forcibly turned into a lead by making Dev dumb and by destroying his character. So she was included for eights months in a show at the expense of Dev and Radhika. I as a viewer had invested time in CB2 to see the story of Dev and Radhika and not of Barkha - the artificial character.

Bharadwaj family was very interesting as it was connected to Radhika. Also RB was the interesting character after Dada whom I wanted to see.

Misti, thanks. Take your time. I need to expand in this thread too about other episodes. But that track was definitely the best one for me as it had so much details. Also it was all about the story of Dev and Radhika with actions of side characters associated with those characters.

Thanks Why6 for this wonderful post .. iam watching this show for Avinash and Rubina only.. No magical attraction is there which was in CB1 am not comparing but as it is season sure there is some expectations which we viewers have ..

if i share my thoughts then there are lots of dislikes will be there for which i did not get a proper answers ..still iam watching this show for the sake AvIna

i have lots of favorite scenes but the first one is i loved the RaDev childhood it was really nice they would have showed it more ..

Next is the one RaDev love which was natural like love a at first sight though Rads was waiting for her KK unknowingly they fell for each other and then Rads realized what she doing is wrong she cant control herself that was nice scene

Then obviously Rads kidnap scene it was the best and best track which i liked a lot it was like practical love same would have happened as a normal human being ..

the track which was not shown when RaDev love starts Dev got to read the diary of Rads which later they did not shown what happened to that diary

the worst track was Barkha's love towards Dev how did it happen still i don't understand what made Barkha she deceived her childhood friend who is very close to her she is the one who made RaDev marriage happen otherwise sure RaDev wont really got married

But i think though i liked the Kanha track Rubi got a chance to show her skills if Kanha would have not come there Dev would have never know that what happened to Rads? they made Dev dumb in really feeling sorry for him

when Dev sacrificing his love for Rohan he behaved so rude to her i agree he did for his family sake but during Barkha's track why he turned so rude to Rads where was Dev's unconditional love here ???

what is then need of bringing Asur .. they would have brought the real chacha and made him turn negative..

Daima turning negative and abusing Rads .. for a while i thought they are following CB1 to raise the trps as CB1 had good trps

i did not like how the RaDev marriage scene happen ( i mean in look wise) in CB1 she was forced to do the marriage though that was sad scene for her she was crying still she looked so beautiful
but in CB2 it was happy scene but Rads make up was not good like she was rushed to do the scene she looked so pale in that scene

The Dadaji he was right when he said Rads to sacrifice Dev as for the sake of Rpship as he does not know the entire truth at that time but after knowing everything still he forced Rads to do the crime .. he is an RP how can he commit such a big sin ??? why he did gave that promise to Rads before dying ??

Finally they again showed a good track Rads sister Ruby entering teh show it was track so good but they ended it so soon why??

All the good tracks are very short but what we dont like are dragged for months then how will the trps will raise ???

i don't know why but am not satisfied with all this ..i will watch this show until Avinash and Rubina are doing ..

Angie, Really liked your thread and how you have dissected the storyline and the characters. Wish the creative writers can take a page from your, Misti and other forum members' in depth thinking, analysis and logic!
First CB episode I watched was during the kidnapping track when Dev finds wood cutting job and Radhika is very upset seeing the blisters on his hand..after that I fell hook, line and sinker!! I had to go back and watch all the episodes of CB2 as well as CB1. Like most of the replies on this thread, the kidnapping track is my favorite so far. While watching episodes in reverse order, it is obvious to me that post-Barkha entry, there is a conscious or unconscious attempt to dial down amazing chemistry and intensity between Dev/Radhika. CB2 has so many amazing characters but sadly their potential is untapped.
