well, DDji's situation make him to take such decisions ya... For him society's thought is more important than their lovable ones happiness... He wants to safe guard the name of the family and pride of the RP ship that's what lead to all this problems... Just my thought 😉

Dadaji certainly valued his position in society more than the happiness of his children...
He, as a RP, should set a good example for the society...he as a RP should uphold "dharma"...bu he failed there also...As you said his ego may have been the root cause of his actions...

Radhika,nice post. Dadaji was very egoistic.For him his image was above everything & everyone.He wanted to keep a good image at the cost of his son & GS happiness. He should have first thought about his son & GS happiness before thinking about the society. But,he chose the society.If he had accepted Hari's marraige to Chaya & Dev's marraige to Radhika the society too would have followed his footsteps & this would have paved a way for a better tomorrow.If Dev realises his dadaji's adharm & his true face it'l be too late.Now he's no more.Unless dadaji has faked his own death to manipulate RaDev & he's the one who's helping Barkha,then it's a different thing.

Dadaji is the biggest villian in mine eyes he might be good RP for society and helped them but for his own family he failed big time. So many people lifes got ruined. And now Dev is suffering

dadaji's: actually he was right that he should firstly care about society than his family but as an RP ,by telling lies and all ,he failed in that too.He was not able to do dharam with society even.

am waiting for other characters mainly our radev ,what u have to say.

Ego was Dadaji's fallacy----an emotion that can bring down many...

And yes, there is a theory that Dadaji may be alive, and may be the mystery person---if so, I want him to be meted a severe punishment (doesn't have to be of a physical nature)...as he is the many villain...

Dev is making bad decisions because of Dadaji bad influence and wrong idea about dharm etc

Hope Dev some day realise how weak and selfish person his dadaji kinda was

...I would really like to see that Dev realizes Dadaji's true colors and no longer holds him on a pedestal

For a long time, I could not clearly separate (in my mind) the difference between kartavya and dharma...Both are interconnected...

By not doing your kartavya in the way it is supposed to, you are conducting adharma...and Dadaji is a prime example of that...
