Yes, CB2 does lack that excitement which was there galore in CB1! I am not criticizing the show, but yes cannot control myself from pointing out the huge mistakes the makers did in rushing up the plot initially! Rather than letting attraction develop between RaDev slowly thru sweet moments...they went haphazardly just to show that Holi ME, which in itself was a pathetically edited ME (have never seen such poorly edited episode ever!)
CB1 in its far initial days had much more curious elements, poignant feeling were properly added and the story looked so beautiful and fresh! Infact CB1 had relatively unknown faces as the leading stars (barring Avinash cuz he was seen in a -ve role earlier)
With CB2, the expectations are quite high, so the makers had to double up the standards obviously. Audience wouldnt consciously make a comparison to CB1 knowing that this is a fresh season...but when we see certain things, we couldnt help but wonder as to how beautifully things were happening in CB1!
From a recent article that was published, it became clear that CB2 was brought only for the TRP's! So obviously the makers and channel are least interested in developing the storyline properly...Infact any show in its earlier stages would have a set storyline...but it seems CB2 doesnt even have that!!
Sometimes the current storyline makes me wonder if the makers had any story in their mind at all before launching the show? Or did they just held AviNa's hand and said "Action!"
Instead of increasing the standard, it has gone down badly. The characters arent given enough time to express their feelings for rushing the plot (but why is this rush needed??)
Their first week ratings easily proved that people were eager to watch this show all over again...which meant the fan base was strong! So obviously these makers relaxed back and didnt concentrate much on storyline and the results are for all to see...the TRP's have gone down so much!!!
I think many of the plots like College track were scrapped off because they wanted unnecessary drama. But i guess the tracks that had been scrapped would have given them better ratings than this haphazardly done up tracks!!
