Bumbum=Dev

Phuljhari=Radhika

Chirkut=Rohan

Anyway……..poor Bumbum …😭😭…….his heart got broken today again. Bad bad chunnu munnu…😡😡😡…..He came and overheard Chirkut promising about marrying Phuljhari and kabutarni saying that if the choti bahu comes then dadaji will be well and this girl is the perfect choti bahu…😭😭…..but Phuljharis name is not written on the will na…😛…..its choti bahu or the "societies choti bahu"……😛….anyway as soon as Bumbum gets to know about dadaji he gulps in pain and keeps quiet…😭😭….when people call him he wipes his tears and with a smile turns around and says the girl is good……😭😭😭….everyone is talking around him and in their own world and no one notices his eyes…😭..excepting for amma who guesses something is wrong…😳…….maybe Chirkut too because he did have a strange expression when Bumbum walks away…🤔…….. Look ammaji I never thought I am going to rewrite a song for you…..but I did it today…😡….so you better wake up and rejuvenate your brain cells that you have kept frozen for research…😳😳..

Comment- I know yesterday I was harsh on Avinash but today he was very good….not the screan stealer because that is reserved for someone in this episode……..and I don't think Avinash will mind if I refer to this person as the scene stealer😉.. Anyway coming back to Avinash….he made full use of his expressive face and eyes today…….who needs dialogues when one has these eyes………Good work Avinash…..very good projection of hidden pain ……Bumbum is expert in this ….putting a smile on for others……..Bumbum does not know anyother way to express pain than to smile through it…..Chunnu munnu ok a request………..can you please show him breaking down in front of the murthi……..thats the only thing that he can call his own which is close to his dreamgirl……..he needs to tell his feelings na……..the feelings that he could not tell the real Phuljhari…….let him do that. I know Avinash can do it……and the audience will also like watching it………will be painfull but might turn out to be a good scene. Chunnu munnu, he is sacrificing for his grandfathers health but won't he even once think that the guy for whom he is doing all this is a Casanova and the girl concerned is an innocent girl…He has the right to sacrifice his dreams for his dadaji, but does he have the right to sacrifice some innocent persons dreams too?

Now coming to Mansarams house………..the mother is still continuing on her thoughts which are harsh truths…Chanda also joins in that how will she recognize this guy………and Phuljhari's explanation that she knows loads of things about him that he plays the flute…😃……..likes floating lamps on water…😃…..and that KK is a bit mischievous…😃…..Phuljhari is in her dreamworld and Phuljharis reaction will be much more when her dreamworld crumbles…🤔……for Bumbum although the dream is close to his heart but he has not been living the dream for half his age……..Phuljhari has and this dream is her reality for the time being. 🤔Anyway then she tells her father that the boy who danced with her in the raasleela is her kk…🤔…..and the father jumps up and says that he will go and find the guys name from the members of the committee…(by the way I found the father question that why didn't Phuljhari tell him before hilarious…😆well chunnu munnu did not let her😉😛)…..the wife tells him that why does he want to break Phuljahris dream…..which is in one way might turn out to be true……..So the youngest grandson (Rohan) will be announced but amma, Padma and Kabutarni know who danced 12 years back in the raas leela…🤔……wonder……..what will happen to these three characters.🤔 One thing Chunnu munnu….Radhika now knows what her mother is about but sill she is trying to please her…out of guilt maybe but hope you will show her being wary of the mother while main decisions are being taken. So she will get to know that Rohan is the boy dancing and think Dev is Rohan but the family will know that Rohan is Rohan and this guy was some random guy……….I am so happy its Friday I can rest my brains during the weekend from the cunnu munnu…

Comment-Today Rubina should take a bow…thescene stealer of the episode…..specially when she was saying what she remembers of that boy……….her list of flute…lamps on river…perfect scene stealer….So the CV of the boy is……..tall, should not have moustache and short hair…..and now in the likes paragraph………its playing flute, floating lamps on water and being mischievous……..Phuljari is her dreamworlsd is just happy that her father is getting her dream boy for her and that father will set everything right. The innocence of Phuljhari came out today…….and she does not care about anything else other than find her KK…….Her dreams will be crumbling and I hope that she has enough self belief and faith in her to rise again and face the real world.But chunnu munnu I do have a problem here.....not with acting ...this problem is with chunnu munnu.........yesterday Phuljhari was distraught and today she is back to her dreamworld........I felt as if a chunk of something is missing in between.........

Misti Rubina was just awesome today.
Avinash was also good but much was shown yesterday, yesterday it was his day and today is Rubina's day .............ya and i am sure he'll not mind😆 😃 😉....
She was superb...and one more scene, when Mansa tells her he'll go and find KK, she becomes speechless, her transformation of expressions ( from disbelief, to happiness, her emotions, her tears she is controlling)...👏 Rubi just outdid today.....

/QUOTE ) Liked the lyrics of your song which depicts the Dev,s inner pain and it moves you..Hope they will move Dai ma also.....You have very well written your comments about today's episode....Radhika,s innocence,eagerness while describing kid KK ....Rubina did a good job with her changing expressions....Liked Avinash equally distraught, with pain in his eyes....Nobody gave any attention to him except Dai ma, her expressions changed to seriousness, as if she knew something is not right ....Rohan also was serious when he saw Dev....Mansa Ram was again in his form,same is chhenu who cares for Radhika.....Here only because of Dada ji Dev will not say anything to Rohan.....Happy because story is moving and now the PF will be in limelight....Misti you have insight to read the characters...Keep it up and always love to read your discussions with other members specially Angie.....Thanks Misti ....i have not heard this song ,.this is a beautiful..very sad ....

Misti, I liked today's episode but disliked it also for some reasons and you have also mentioned them.

I liked Dev and his expressions of pain especially when he was trying to smile and then walking upstairs like a broken person. I was ok with PF not observing his pain because all of them are self absorbed and Dev is just an errand person for them.

Interesting observation about Chirkut looking at Dev's face. But he is also concerned from his point of view only.

Padma has been reduced to just smiles and also she has not been shown to care for Dev. Even during the childhood, there would be a small frown on her face at Maheswari's behavior whenshe was nasty to Dev but there was no protest. So even if they make her old Padma, she would not care for Dev's pain either.

Amma is the one noticed it. Also, they are making her absent in last few episodes. Either they want to keep her dumb who is not noticing Maheswari's manipulations or they are waking her up. Lets hope for the latter.

I liked Phuljhari's happiness at the thought of finding KK. Liked Rubina's expressions.

Liked Chenu's happiness at seeing Radhika happy. Chenu cares about money but he cares about Radhika too. In the short run, he will run after money and decieve Radhika if necessary but in the long run where it matters, he would side with Radhika if they keep him consistent. I forgot who criticized him in your thread about instigating one sister against the another. I didn't see it this way. Shanti created these divisions among her kids (real or adopted) to get back at her husband. chenu knows his real sister is shallow and likes to snatch stuff from Radhika. Hence this is his way of protecting Radhika.

Shanti and Chanda reacted as expected.

Dislikes

1. The story is moving exactly like CB1. Dev like Radhika giving up Radhika and Radhika like Dev mistaking his identity.

2. Radhika's scene was jarring and incomplete. So far they showed her distraught at the idea that she was attracted to this guy when she should only be thinking about KK. Then she was upset when she thought that Dev is the groom for Chanda. She was trying to prepare herself for that. Then she was upset that her family fixed the proposal.

Since she has feelings for Dev, wouldn't there a tiny bit of relief that Dev did not come for Chanda. Her pleasure at finding KK should be tempered by the fact that she is attracted to Dev and there is a little bit of hidden happiness that he came for her. The feelings are more complex and I wish they had shown that confusion rather than just plain joy which did not go well with earlier episodes and Radhika's confusion in last few days.

3. The major dislike is how these movies and serials portray this giving up of a person as a greatness. Dev is upset that Chirkut has agreed to the proposal. I can even see him becoming emotional about Dadaji getting cured. But disregarding the prophecy, can't there be another girl who is also a nice cultured person and the prophecy did not mention Radhika's name.

But what was most upsetting was Dev's disregard for Radhika's feelings. first of all he knows that Radhika is thinking of the proposal for her sister. So she is not going to be ready for this mentally. Then what about asking her if she wants to marry somebody or not. As you said, he knows about Rohan's reluctance and why would he want somebody whom he loves to marry a person like Rohan who may not appreciate her. Radhika has a total different personality.

Wasn't happy about the precap either. Ok so he is expressing his feelings about Radhika. But show it in private and don't share it with Rohan to convince him of Radhika's suitability. That is not Dev's job. I wish for a change they could show characters being aloof from the situation and saying to Rohan in this case that only Rohan and Radhika can make that judgment. I would have preferred for Dev to say, "Rohan, this is your life. You can meet with her and judge for yourself. Don't rely on my words. I am not able to explain anything about her except to say that I liked her."

As you mentioned, the breakdown should be in front of Radhika's murti and that should be an emotional scene. Emotional scenes are more effective if they are in front of things that are personal to one rather than sharing them with strangers.

Finally, just am not liking the story that much. It feels like a stale taste to me. I didn't agree with Radhika forcing Dev to accept Vishaka and I won't like Dev giving up on this premise and not caring for Radhika's feelings. If they want to show this as a different story, then Dev needs to meet with Radhika one time and ask her bluntly what she wants. If she accepts the marriage to Rohan, then he steps back. But should not be convincing either Rohan or Radhika to accept each other by painting a rosy picture of each other. This giving up something of yours (in this case a person) to make others happy is doing injustice to that other person. People are not objects that can be distributed freely.

Angie i agree with you but why Radhika be the Chhoti Bahu....one of the .reason i think is, she is orphan and when people were asking her about that touching of pots , she stood there quietly not answering back...Maheshwari must have got the impression of Radhika being a goongi gudiya, whom she could control....Here Mansa ram is poor and from lower cast ,so Maheshwari can dominate....

Neerja, I understand Maheswari's reasons but my complaint is about Dev's point of view. There are several girls who could be cultured, pretty and willing to marry Rohan. Why sacrifice your love for somebody else? If it is a object you own, you can do it. But Radhika is not an object. She is a living person with her own dreams and aspirations. Also she is the one who is unaware of this proposal. So is it fair that one gives up a person to another person because doing that would make one's family happy.

What about the person who is being gifted? Don't their feelings count. I disliked Radhika when they did that in CB1. Not in the beginning because she had low self-esteem and convinced herself that it was Vishaka Dev wanted to marry. Once she got married to him instead, she had no choice as Shastri women just dominated her and snatched her rights. But once they admitted their feelings for each other and Radhika realized that Dev was just a means to an end for Vishaka, she was still forcing him to forgive her and accept her. That brought down her character for me.

If they do that to Dev, I would be equally harsh on him too. He may not marry her because of his family. But that is his choice. However, no rights to make choices for Radhika. What if Radhika really likes him and wants to marry him. Is it right for him to step back and let Rohan marry Radhika?

I just want to see different type of characters who are strong enough not to care for rituals (Radhika in this case) or obligations (Dev in this case) and fight for their rights. That to me is more of a spiritual love. So I hope they would show that groW*H in both Dev and Radhika in next 11 days (has to before the wedding). Not enough time for such groW*H but there is no choice.

You, Angie, Neerja, Chalhov, Radha, Rajsri and all those who I missed that usually write in this thread, know how to express their thoughts (in words) very well and I like to read rather than comment ... 😃 ... If I do write, it takes me a long time to pen down my thoughts in words becuase I have to think about how to write it and whether it makes sense or not.

Coming to today's episode and your thoughts, you need a standing ovation for the song first. 👏 .. Too good, Misti Di. Kya baat x 3. 👏

Ok, they did not exactly show what I wanted to see today but there is an exception becuase I completely understand from where Dev is coming from .. and that is the statement regarding CB and dadaji's health .. He loves his dadaji and wants to see him perfectly fine as before. So that is fine. He immediately decided to keep quiet becuase of his dadaji and that is also ok. Good that they did not show any RP property crap as the reason for his back out. Yes, Avinash was brilliant today 👏. I liked the scene with daima near the stairs the most ... his quietness and he had that sad and hurt look. He let that do the job. Hopefully, daima has realised that something is wrong and will take intiative to speak to Dev regarding it. Like you had said, giving those looks is not enough. But I could feel the pain Dev was going thru completely .... 😭 .. They can show him like this for now, but once he has gotten over it he should begin to think what he actually wants and also take into consideration what Radhika wants too ....

Rubina was equally good today. Her excitement when she was talking about her KK, describing her KK. 👏 ... Have to watch that scene again as I rushed thru most of the episode today, have to see why she was the scene stealer for you again today ... 😉

Oh Angie i was giving Maheshwari,s point of view for choosing Radhika..Recently i wrote in some post that Familly dramas have disappeared from Hindi movies and Tv has taken that place.now you will see the sacrificing hero / heroine , manipulation, all kind of drama ...70,s 80,s tear jerkers , depends which one touches your heart.....As for my personal views i totally agree with you.. ..When she got married instead of Vishakha,that was to save family reputation ....If she would have been real daughter even then she would have done the same thing... ...I always felt that story was not from today's time... whole set-up had old time feel with values and all...Have seen people sacrificing their life for their siblings so nothing new.....In fact Angie CB1 is the topic i can go on discussing, sometimes agreed ,sometimes disagreed...
