You delivered valid points, ideally most of the time it's the theme, plot and concept that matters, not all watch to just perve on the male leads. There's much more to soaps then just that. Iqbal is a great actor and hundreds would just watch the soap for him, without paying attention to the fact it may be against there own morals and values. But for individuals likes us its impossible to actually watch our country and religion being defamed. Us lot in UK have great respect for all ethnic minorities, so yeah even if someone else's country and religion was being insulted we would show our concerns.

I totally agree with you in the sense that topics, with regards to serious issues about the concept of the show have been closed without any just reason. We should have our say, or else I am sorry but pure racial discrimination will be taking place and above that sarcasm by certain members should not be taking place either.

For people who fail to understand why many are disappointed with Iqbal I would like to mention this article as well:

Iqbal was denied a visa and everyone felt how hurt he felt! even though many of you would feel its just US policy and nothing personal against Iqbal but I can imagine how crushed he would've felt just cuz he is a MUSLIM he is denied a visa while all others easily got it. Ofcourse he isn't a terrorist but he is a Muslim and everyone just blames Muslims for everything...Muslims are defamed everywhere and media is mostly responsible for it ... and Iqbal being part of this show is supporting the people who just believe Muslims r terrorists since even the terrorists that this show is potraying are ONLY Muslims and it hurts to see Iqbal be a part of it specially after all the issue he made after being denied a visa. I agree its his job etc but like u guys have told so many times that he had many offers so outta all these offers he had to pick this one? even if he was getting paid the most but y wud he do this just for some more money. Anyways, its his faith his choice... he has a huge fan base in PK and he would be loosing most of it just cuz of this show.....we are disappointed with him and the show and we have a right to protest it!

i have friends and family who don't want that. We all know the history of indo-pak. how muslims were killed and all that

I request everyone to show some sensitivity for us in this issue and stop making comments that "add fuel to the fire" there are some members who are doing that and they know who they are...

Who said I am blaming Iqbal khan! Na, I am not and I don't have the intention or aim to target him in any way! Because I understand the fact that he's an actor and thus it's in his calibre, job to act no matter what the role may hold. At the end of the day he gets paid to work.

And yeah him being a very strong Muslim himself, it does sort of move me that he can portray such a role and actually give justice to it!

Plus the reason why im sooo worked up over this concept is that they always have to use Muslims as terrorists. I mean wtf why can't they for once look at it in a broader prospective and maybe try something different and consider the reason as to why some innocent people have been stereotyped and labelled as so called "terrorists". The facts that there have been accusations and assumptions being made that the minority of the Muslims are extremists, fundamentalist does not necessarily mean there terrorists. In every religion you have the set of moderates and fundamentalists, that's something that occurs naturally in all faiths, this maybe due to generational gaps or cultural differences.

However just remember the media injects loads of information into its audience don't mean its true, because they show us what they want too show and make us believe. Plus there are always two sides to every story and making such notions like the concept of CHA its not always politically correct.

well said. I agree with you completely. ppl from other religions are terrorists as well , then why cant these ppl make stuff against them as well??😕

and we want peace btw india and pakistan, if u guys have this type of behaviour towards muslims/pakis how can u expect pakis to be friends with indians? if these ppl continue making movies and tv shows against pakistan, there's no way pakis would be wanna friends with indians. 😕

Simply put- There is no reason why one should be disappointed with Iqbal because of the character he plays. In no way is he like this in real life, and he certainly was not the script writer. The story is pure fiction, and as an actor, Iq is playing the role like he was told to. That's it. If you still dont like Iq anymore, well, that's your opinion I guess, regardless of the fact if it makes sense or not to the rest of us!

& another thing. I do not get why people are watching this show if they dont like the concept. What's the point of wasting time saying stuff about how bad this show is and making a huge deal about religion? You dont like it, simple, just dont watch it😕 Sorry if I offended someone, just trying to get my feelings on this out, just like everyone else is/has.
