Television without TRPs and masala is like plant without water. Same goes for production houses without actors. Recently a new underdog production house, Nautanki Films came to light when it began it's first daily soap ; Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon on Colors TV. Founded by former NDTV Imagine's programming head, the production house instantly drew attention.
Media hype and a strong concept proved a winner within no time for Madhubala. Lead actors Vivian Dsena and Drashti Dhami were crowned as television's RK and Madhubala. Madhubala was made with the concept of portraying the larger than life arena of the big screen on the small screen.
The small screen smart-box embraced and graced Madhubala with open arms and it became an iconic and brand show for Colors. Madhubala also held the record of being the only fictional show of the year to attend a grand opening on the TRP charts on the very first day of its air.
With the popularity and dedication towards quality and not quantity, Nautanki Films released Do Dil Ek Jaan for Life Ok with two new true blood actors, Ayaz Khan and Nikita Sharma. Post the two successes, the production house is back with a new bang!
Television actress Sanaya Irani, popularly known as Khushi from Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon will become the face of Nautanki Films' next titled as Rang Rasiya. Joining her, Ashish Sharma takes on a new shade of grey. Adding more tadka to the news comes, when both Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon and Rang Rasiya will compete for popularity on the same channel ; Colors TV!

Looking at the feedback we've received, we must say that both fan groups within the this virtual world have kept positive hopes for both the shows. However, in a recent poll on our site, Ran Rasiya is marching ahead of Madhubala in terms of expectations with almost 302 votes and still counting.
While Madhubala itself is a cult and brand show on Indian television, Rang Rasiya might be just the next one of its kind to follow. We wish both ventures the best as they bring magic alive!
And here are prayers from me that both these shows remain at the top of the roost of TV and give the channel and the PH good TRPs and recognition.
I know how painful it is when u lose a show due to the distractions of the PH. So i do empathize with MB fans despite the happiness I feel that my own fav's show having such a rocking and promising start as it seems to do everything right this time!
And truly hope that this PH manages to keep their 2 Top shows flying together and not neglect any of its babies and becomes a good example of a successful PH who knows how to do multiple things at the same time successfully!!
