BREAKING: Bigg Boss 7 To Be Replaced By...

Bigg Boss 7 will have it's Grand Finale on December 29, 2013. Post this Colors is ready to launch two dailies - one at the 9:00PM slot, and the other one at the 9:30PM slot.

The shows in question are, Beintehaa and Rangrasiya.

Beintehaa: The show is centered on Islam. It is a passionate love story and will be produced byFarhan Salaruddin's Fortune Productions. The lading lady for the show is Amrita Rao's younger sister Preetika Rao.

A film journalist by profession, Preetika had her own Bollywood column with South Side Movie Magazine in Chennai and in Banaglore, where she contributed to from Mumbai. During her stint as a columnist, Preetika has contributed to film articles in leading papers across Bangalore and Mumbai.

With this show, Preetika marks her debut on television. She made her debut in Tamil cinema in December 2010, with the romantic film, Chikku Bukku, with Arya and Shriya Saran. Beintehaa is currently shooting across the exotic locales in Bhopal.

Beintehaa premieres on December 29, 2013 at the 9:00PM slot.

The second show is Rangrasiya: Once again a love story, set in army background, is being produced by Nautanki Films. Ashish Sharma and Sanaya Irani play the main leads of this drama series. The show is tipped to be on the lines of Yash Chopra's magnum opus Jab Tak Hai Jaan.

Rangrasiya premieres on December 29, 2013 at the 9:30PM slot.

Most of the recent launches on Colors have really not faired well except for Comedy Nights With Kapil. Colors is striving hard to maintain their number two position and faces stiff competition from Zee TV.
Bigg Boss 7 has really not given the required boost to the channel's staggering TRPs.

1) Veer Zaara - cross border love story

2) Agnisakshi - Abusive hubby, fugitive wife, new lover - Sleeping with the enemy

3) Othello - Jealous possessive hubby who ends up murdering his innocent faithful wife thinking she has been unfaithful

3) Jab Tak Hai Jaan - A time leap, 2 generations, 2 countries, love sacrifice (bad acting [read Kat]😆) only similarity is an army story being involved

Reality

A bride who becomes widowed on her wedding day probably by the hands of the male lead.. And her life too seem to be in danger..

now what else can I say about this except

WELL DONE TEAM RANG RASIYA!!! 👏

ST, Nautakani films, Colors a standing ovation for creating such a water tight guard around ur project that you have driven not just the fans but also the media completely crazy that their speculations are going from ridiculous to ludicrous to total bakwas!! 🤪

Anyway hahaha it might be driving me also crazy , but I am glad they r not leaking anything vital and keeping it all awesome!! ❤️

Sanaya Irani to strike back on small screen with Rangrasiya'!

Post her disastrous stint with Chhanchhan', Sanaya Irani was becoming labeled as invisible, when she decided to get back once again. Bang! Here comes another hot shot power packed high octane love story called Rangrasiya', featuring Sanaya Iraniin main leads.

Just in case you thought that it would bomb too, let's give a small intro of the male lead, starring opposite Sanaya, in this love project. He's handsome and rocked in his small screen debut as the love sick goon in his love cum action small screen prime time show called Gunahon Ka Devta'. Yes, it's the dashing, suave and uber handsomeAshish Sharma, who has already been known to strike a chord with his female fan followings.

The show, loosely based on the works of Shakespeare's masterpiece Othello', will have Ashish Sharma as Rudra Sharma', an Army officer, who does not believe in love, while Sanaya, named Parvati', will portray the role of a girl, for whom love is eternal and divine. Their paths will cross and voila! What we would see will be a high voltage drama of love vs hate in a new avatar, in what you can call a cross border love story. The show, Rangrasiya' is all slated to take the prime time slot of Bigg Boss 7, along with Beintehaa' in the pipeline.

With popular shows like Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon' and Mile Jab Hum Tum' in her kitty, we know Sanaya has the looks and skill to woo fans like never before. With a good looking pairing of Sanaya and Ashish, the new project by Viacom 18, is all set to go for the kill!

The promos of the show have already garnered a lot of interest and show potential for a devoted audience during the prime time. Rangrasiya' will have Rajasthan' in its background. The makers Saurabh Tewari and Nautanki films have been heard to shoot the episodes in the harsh deserts of Rajasthan and Rann of Kutch for the appropriate look and feel of the show. Tewari, known for his hit Madhubala' on Colors, will mark his second innings with Rangrasiya'.

According to sources, the current season of Bigg Boss 7, is all set to end next month, paving way for Rangrasiya' and Beintehaa'. The two will fight with the other leading prime time shows on other channels.

Slated to go on air from 30th December, 2013, the show, considering the sparkling fresh chemistry of Sanaya and Ashish, is all looking promising. Let's hope it retains the freshness and is able to garner the expected TRP's, as expected from a popular Sanaya prime time show.

I am so looking forward to this show. I have NEVER been so excited for a show after just seeing one promo .. EEEKKS!!! I hope we get some offscreen segments of Sanaya and Ashish soon too!
