The hospital scenes though were just a setup by Rupali...so the doctors and the hospital were not real. So i guess that was their defense. But the whole plot did look from a 70s movie.

The show had a realistic approach to most situations and for me that was one of the charms of the show.. I could look at a scene and think if it was happening in real life that's exactly what would have happened.. The dynamics of the 2 very differing families was well portrayed..
But the script has been on a steady decline, cant precisely say from when..

I do hope they come up with a justification for the hospital scene- fake hospital, fake doctor anything..

But even overlooking that, the Chhanchhan Rupali scene could ve been so much better..And the family except for Kaumudi does not even bother to enquire when CC-Manav are missing.. And Manav has to see the newspaper to realise the dead guy is the same whom he had a fight with the day before??

The episode carried quite a punch, in terms of sequence of events. Finally we get to see Chhanchhan coming into her own, though only 7 episodes are left, but I am glad to see this. In a regular timeframe this track would have been quite powerful, provided it was well executed. Not getting into the latter anymore.

Yep, ignore the execution ... no point now that the show is ending. 😕 I'm glad it's ending with a strong determined Chhanchhan ... they should have done this much earlier.

ChanMan find themselves in the biggest problem of their life and Chhanchhan, the problem solver, has a gigantic issue in her hand, the consequences of which will be monumental for her personally and for the Borisagar family. Wonder if Sarabhais will come for moral support, with the news being flashed all over the media.

Manav' s arrest has brought the family together in trying to sort it out but some issues of discontent and disunity still exist. Manthan still carries a grudge. Mugut is not convinced yet that Manav is responsible. Babuji has to wait a bit (until next week 😉) for everyone to fall in line. Guessing that Ranjana has mend her ways.

Manav is at a loss and racked with guilt and Chhanchhan is right there to hold him. Will enjoy the sherni avataar next couple of episodes. Would love to see some family bonding too, Chhanchhan-Kaumudi bonding scenes. Time for the Borisagar family to rally round Chhanchhan, like she has done for others.
I think the only one holding out is Manthan ... and maybe to a lesser extent, Ranjana. The rest will all rally around. Maybe this track will also bring Manthan back into the fold. They don't have more time to do it! ... and considering they have kept that dissatisfied trait of his alive till the end, they just might close that loop too.

My favorite scenes were the ChanMan bedroom scene and Rupali- Chhanchhan scene (especially Sanaya's expressions which had to keep changing with different emotions Chhanchhan is feeling--fear, anger, despair, shock, confusion and determination). Anuj' s expressions in the hospital need special mention. Glad Chhanchhan kept her dignity and refused to plead Rupali for mercy, the thought too did not cross her mind. I like this modern bahu. But how will she extricate Manav from jail?

If she manages to trace the broker and prove he is still alive, her task is almost done. And me too, I loved that last scene for Sanaya's expressions ... shock, determination, controlled anger ... almost giving in to despair, then rallying herself again ...

Uma ben was mentioned today, hope she makes an appearance soon.

For me while many of the situations and concepts were realistic, the execution was mostly lacking.

There were many loopholes today...quite unbelievable how Rupali could setup the accident, the hospital and even the police. Faking a person's death is not that simple.

Manav actually recognized the guy in the car itself while they were taking him to hospital. He was just shocked to see the news in the paper i guess.

The only saving grace were the actors, all of whom did a great job in spite of the screenplay. I feel really sad to say this for Chhanchhan as one thing i liked about this was the realistic approach..

The accident part and the hospital, the doctors it appeared right out of some cheesy 70s movie.. And even in such movies i dont think any doctor will deliver the news of death in that way!

And Rupali's dialogues seemed like they had just picked it out of some random old movie with a wife v/s girlfriend concept.. Although the actress who plays Rupali did her best, there's a limit to what one can do..

Sanaya and Anuj also tried to make it tolerable with their performance but ultimately the script and dialogues do matter.

When i'd heard its going to be Chhanchhan fighting Rupali to save Manav in yesterday's spoilers I had huge hopes but really what they showed today makes me scared as to what they are gonna do for next 7 episodes..

Appreciate Sanaya and the rest of the cast for their brilliant acting inspite of the sad state of the script..

@TM waiting to hear your views. If u feel i should remove this plz tell me.. I feel really disappointed to be writing this but just felt i had to say what i felt..

Hey, no need to remove your post ... you're perfectly entitled to write what you feel! 😃 The execution and especially the screenplay has been the main problem of the show from the start anyway ... such a pity when they have such a good cast. But I really wasn't too surprised by the things went today though.

The hospital and doctors were all a set up anyway, so that could excuse their very cheesy dialogues 😛 I hope the police were also a set up, their dialogues were even worse! I liked the Rupali-Chhanchhan scene though ... I hope Chhanchhan goes about this the sane way that she did the Sonali expose ... by using her brains ... and some technology 😛

Again will talk abt the scenes which left an impact. Anuj was very good in the hospital scene , the shock when he realises that the man is dead and the dazed look he had all the way to his room.

The best scene ofcourse was between CC and the crazy lady rupali scene ...liked the controlled way in which sanaya acted and the dialogues were written well . The actor playing rupali was good too though with her crazy psycotic behavioir it looks like she is going to tip over anytime ...

Lets see how CC comes out of this and gets manav out of the jail. By the precap get a feeling UB is going to make a comeback soon ...giving a lecture to the mahila madal brigade 😆

Just 7 more episodes to go and then no sanaya 😕 ...it will hit all of us after the 19th ...

Agree about Anuj in the hospital and also in the bedroom ... his guilt when he thinks he's killed a guy was very well done. I witnessed a fatal accident once, and it shook me up completely ... to be involved in one and to know one is responsible can be shattering ... Anuj did that very well.

I always love Sanaya in her angry mode ... because she never goes OTT or shrieks like almost all other telly actresses do ... the Chhanchhan-Rupali confrontation was good because neither of the actresses went OTT, they were both very controlled.
I want to see more of the determined Chhanchhan in the next few episodes.

Am not thinking about CC ending now ... will handle that when it happens. 😕 Just hope we start getting rumors of her offers soon enough ... the wait will be really hard without any tidbits of news. We need to start that New Shows thread soon ... I will do so before CC ends and PM the mods to make it a sticky. 😃

How does Rupali get the doctors, media & police to be part of this lie of declaring the accident victim dead? So nobody will see him hanging around and celebrating his own death?

The actors are doing a fab job, but feel bad that the script & execution is doing no justice to the talented cast. Special mention Of Anuj/sanaya scene in hospital & home & then the Cc-Rupali scene. The actors were awesome.

Eagerly waiting to see Sanaya in a fiery avatar...hope the execution is reasonable good.

The broker told Manav CC which hospital to take him to. So the whole hospital thing was a set up.
Didn't know Rupali was rich enough to pull this off 😲 😆
The police ... again a set up, I guess.

The media is the most unrealistic part ... you can buy off a few policemen, or use connections to do so ... all the rich and influential people do that 😕 ... even setting up a fake accident or fatal illness has been done in many shows and in movies ... but no one can buy off the entire media ... not in these days of a zillion tv channels.

Anyway, am not complaining about track or execution now when the show is on its last legs ... I just watch each episode as it comes. The actors are just about holding it together ... creditable when they know the show is ending and the tracks have become so unrealistic ... for a show which raised real issues all along, despite the poor execution, this one is a bit disappointing. But good enough to see Sanaya in a determined strong mode ... what I wanted all along.

The show is wrapping up but instead of subjecting us to this even if they had just showed us some day to day life scenes of the family it would ve been tolerable.. I really hope they do something better in the next few days..

Not to worry ... most of us here are sticking on till the end out of loyalty to the show and the actors, who are still doing their best, despite the poor script. Guess the makers are giving us a ChhanMan track, but instead of this unrealistic one, they could have given us a honeymoon track and some small day-to-day issues on that one ... or some more on the tussle of balancing between home and work for Chhanchhan, and Manav's slowly getting used to that and helping her with the home responsibilities.

Also I haven't got my wish of seeing the BS bahus sit and have meals with the men yet ... and now I don't think I will. The only time Kaumudi and CC sat at the table was with Rupali 😕

Capri ... that's been the story of the show all along, hasn't it? Good ideas, good actors, but let down by a poor script, poor execution, and rushed tracks.

Though I have to say, the hospital scenes here were no different and no worse from any I've seen in any other show ... there have been exactly two shows where they have gotten the medical scene somewhat right ... and one of the shows is NOT DMG, which was based in a hospital! Most shows have pathetic hospital/medical scenes.
The policemen coming to arrest Manav irked me more ... and I didn't like that Manav Chhanchhan hadn't told the family anything about the accident, that was also unrealistic.

Did Manav not tell CC that the victim was the broker? Need to re-watch to check that. He recognised him in the car for sure.

@bold ...that bugged me too ... they could have shown the brothers asking Kaumudi to call, or worrying about Manav-CC being missing the whole day.

@blue - That was bad screenplay ... Manav did recognise the broker in the car ... so what was the surprise about when he saw the newspaper?

The whole hospital scene was a set up from the start ... the broker told Manav in the car to take him to that specific hospital. So that part was not so irksome to me.

But I totally agree ... they started well, I could totally relate to the two families with two different cultures ... but they never got around to tackling those issues in any depth ... instead they veered off on tangents.
Anyway, all water under the bridge now ... 😕
