Mixed bag episode ... the setting is dramatic but the acting was good. The last scene was the best ... the confrontation between CC-Rupali.

Again there was attention to detail ... the accident victim told Manav which hospital he wanted to go to ... so that explained how the entire set up there worked for him ... apparently all set up by Rupali. Just wonder what if Manav had not braked in time and the guy had really gotten hurt, too hurt to specify which hospital he wanted to be taken to? Rupali's plan would have sunk without trace!

Manthan is not pulling with the entire family yet ... his grievances with Manav remain ... so Babuji's dream to see the entire family united will have to wait a little longer. Mugut and Manek on the other hand are with Manav. Kaumudi trusts Chhanchhan and Manav completely ... she knows they are never irresponsible, so there has to be something wrong.

The hospital scene was bad ... am resigned to the fact that hospital scenes in all telly shows are pathetic ... including that death announcement. And what was that about the delay about taking the guy to the hospital ... I thought ChhanMan took him there pretty quickly. 😕

The Manav-Chhanchhan bedroom scene was good but too short ... Anuj was good as the guy who is genuinely shattered to know that he has taken someone's life ... even a troubled but still reassuring Chhanchhan could not bring him out of that overwhelming guilt.

Broker is actually alive, of course ... so Manav's guilt is completely misplaced ... 😕

Police coming to arrest Manav ... why did Manav Chhanchhan not tell the family about the broker's death? So the police have also been bought off by Rupali .. or this particular set of policemen have, anyway. This scene, like the hospital scene, was marred by poor dialogues ...

Brothers and CC at police station ... Rupali calls Manav to gloat, CC takes the call and realises that this part is also Rupali's plan ... Manav had already told her about the broker plant, fortunately ...

Rupali-Chhanchhan ... best scene of the day ... the actress playing Rupali was good, supercilious and disdainful of CC ... so you know all this was my plan, what are you going to do about it? The edgy, almost out of control character was well done ...
And Sanaya was great ... controlled fury in her voice and eyes ... momentary doubt as Rupali speaks, then she regains her anger and her courage .. do what you like, I will get Manav out of this.
Always love Sanaya in these scenes ... she never loses her voice control, nor does she ever get shrieky or shrill when she gets angry. And Rupali was very good too.

Precap - Manav is apparently out on bail and back home ... am wondering how will CC get Manav out of this one. The deal breaker will be if they can find that the broker is still alive ... is Nerd Vineet going to come back for that, or will it all be Chhanchhan, maybe this time with Manthan's help? Or with Manav himself? Will Umaben come back to help, now that she has also been de-throned from her MM?

Happy Ganesh Chaturthi!

The episode carried quite a punch, in terms of sequence of events. Finally we get to see Chhanchhan coming into her own, though only 7 episodes are left, but I am glad to see this. In a regular timeframe this track would have been quite powerful, provided it was well executed. Not getting into the latter anymore.

ChanMan find themselves in the biggest problem of their life and Chhanchhan, the problem solver, has a gigantic issue in her hand, the consequences of which will be monumental for her personally and for the Borisagar family. Wonder if Sarabhais will come for moral support, with the news being flashed all over the media.

Manav' s arrest has brought the family together in trying to sort it out but some issues of discontent and disunity still exist. Manthan still carries a grudge. Mugut is not convinced yet that Manav is responsible. Babuji has to wait a bit (until next week 😉) for everyone to fall in line. Guessing that Ranjana has mend her ways.

Manav is at a loss and racked with guilt and Chhanchhan is right there to hold him. Will enjoy the sherni avataar next couple of episodes. Would love to see some family bonding too, Chhanchhan-Kaumudi bonding scenes. Time for the Borisagar family to rally round Chhanchhan, like she has done for others.

My favorite scenes were the ChanMan bedroom scene and Rupali- Chhanchhan scene (especially Sanaya's expressions which had to keep changing with different emotions Chhanchhan is feeling--fear, anger, despair, shock, confusion and determination). Anuj' s expressions in the hospital need special mention. Glad Chhanchhan kept her dignity and refused to plead Rupali for mercy, the thought too did not cross her mind. I like this modern bahu. But how will she extricate Manav from jail?

Uma ben was mentioned today, hope she makes an appearance soon.

I dont know if i should say this but really what was happening today?? Seemed like the script and screenplay writers and other creatives have already moved on.. The only saving grace were the actors, all of whom did a great job in spite of the screenplay. I feel really sad to say this for Chhanchhan as one thing i liked about this was the realistic approach..
The accident part and the hospital, the doctors it appeared right out of some cheesy 70s movie.. And even in such movies i dont think any doctor will deliver the news of death in that way!

And Rupali's dialogues seemed like they had just picked it out of some random old movie with a wife v/s girlfriend concept.. Although the actress who plays Rupali did her best, there's a limit to what one can do..

Sanaya and Anuj also tried to make it tolerable with their performance but ultimately the script and dialogues do matter.

When i'd heard its going to be Chhanchhan fighting Rupali to save Manav in yesterday's spoilers I had huge hopes but really what they showed today makes me scared as to what they are gonna do for next 7 episodes..

Appreciate Sanaya and the rest of the cast for their brilliant acting inspite of the sad state of the script..

@TM waiting to hear your views. If u feel i should remove this plz tell me.. I feel really disappointed to be writing this but just felt i had to say what i felt..

A lot happened in the episode tday ...
Again will talk abt the scenes which left an impact. Anuj was very good in the hospital scene , the shock when he realises that the man is dead and the dazed look he had all the way to his room.

The best scene ofcourse was between CC and the crazy lady rupali scene ...liked the controlled way in which sanaya acted and the dialogues were written well . The actor playing rupali was good too though with her crazy psycotic behavioir it looks like she is going to tip over anytime ...

Lets see how CC comes out of this and gets manav out of the jail. By the precap get a feeling UB is going to make a comeback soon ...giving a lecture to the mahila madal brigade 😆

Just 7 more episodes to go and then no sanaya 😕 ...it will hit all of us after the 19th ...

You shouldn't remove it and its your opinion ...perfectly justified and I know what u mean , for a show which was just abt medicore ...iit has gone worse in the last few weeks and it is looking increasingly cheesy but this alas is the fate of shows which are ending ..its wrap up time .

No, don't remove your post, this your opinion which is as valid as others. This is an episode discussion thread and all views and perspectives are welcome. About the writing and screenplay, it has been the biggest complaint of most from the beginning, now it is just about tying some loose ends and calling it a day. Pity, considering they have such wonderful actors to work with.

Rather unrealistic track...
How does Rupali get the doctors, media & police to be part of this lie of declaring the accident victim dead? So nobody will see him hanging around and celebrating his own death?

The actors are doing a fab job, but feel bad that the script & execution is doing no justice to the talented cast. Special mention Of Anuj/sanaya scene in hospital & home & then the Cc-Rupali scene. The actors were awesome.

Eagerly waiting to see Sanaya in a fiery avatar...hope the execution is reasonable good.

Thanks.. I almost deleted it after typing coz it felt kind of disloyal.. And if i dint feel so disappointed i wouldnt have posted it.. The show is wrapping up but instead of subjecting us to this even if they had just showed us some day to day life scenes of the family it would ve been tolerable.. I really hope they do something better in the next few days..

Agree with you abt the screenplay, dialogues and the execution. That has been the story all along..the show has just been lifted by the actors.

The hospital scenes though were just a setup by Rupali...so the doctors and the hospital were not real. So i guess that was their defense. But the whole plot did look from a 70s movie.

That's exactly what i was feeling bad about, so much of potential being wasted.. Really hope they make something better of it in next 7 episodes.. The show deserves a better goodbye..
